A lot of people think that a 12 second blocktime is a horrible idea but it seams to work rather well for this coin. Has there been any major issues with the fast blocktime? worldcoin changed from 15 to 30 second blocktime due to orphan issues. i made a poll https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=620644.0 it appears that most people think that ~45 seconds is optimal. nothing special. really a lot of orphans, but who cares  I do. Just noticed I've been getting orphans on 3 different machines over the last 12 hours or so with ZERO confirms. Not wasting anymore power on this coin. |

Just noticed I've been getting orphans on 3 different machines over the last 12 hours or so with ZERO confirms.
Not wasting anymore power on this coin.
Due coin nature - use some pool, do not mine it in solo. Or setup own stratum server on FAST server with SSD and point all your machines there. Right stratum setup also very important with such blockspeed as with FST. Only so you can mine this coin. |

I am mining FST on a community pool we just set up for a crypto currency community I own. I believe this cryptocurrency has good potential but it looks like it needs more time. I want to promote it but i dont have any FCT and USD/FST (potcoinexchange) doesnt work. I want to buy something but i dont have any bitcoin or litecoin either.So can something send me some?

how come so many orphans with Fastcoin??
In the last 45 blocks found on the pool I'm using 3 of which were orphans... I personally have no idea why they appear more frequent here Can't wait for FST to hit mintpal, they're stopping the voting system soon which will make it impossible/extremely difficult to make it in Besides mintpal, anyone know an exchange you can trust? I personally have never gone out of mintpal, but I've got about 100k FST mined and nothing to do with it :S |

My wallet constantly crashes and can't seem to withdraw from my wallet. it says 0/unconfirmed for weeks now.
I've already deleted all files except wallet.dat twice and used -rescan also but I can't seem to transfer my coins to cryptsy. Has anybody got the same issue? I would like to transfer everything

I think Fastcoin has a future because of the name and the concept - if the developer manages to recruit a more active development and marketing team (I'm not volunteering).
