Mobgod, i'll send you a G netometry[at]gmail.com your wallet. I bountied a G for a faucet too then I funded it and will continue to do so. I know it's not much but I want to spread them around.

Is there a forum? If not there has to be. If the dev is reading I'll help run it. I have quite a few and will help out with moderation and bounties.

I'm on the PR team at FTC and these are the only 2 coins I hold at the moment.

Why has FST shot up? Any news?

I heard that FastCoin is one of the Crypto currencies that some of the African nations such as Zimbabwe or Kenya may consider adopting.  Due to there high mobile phone usage combined with mobile banking, it would be a great fit!

You never know where any of these crypto currencies will end up including BitCoin, who knows, FastCoin could be the dark horse in this race.   Roll Eyes

des anyone have a code for the cgminer .bat file? Im trying to solomine as we speak and I just hit a block and it was rejected. I don't know if that's the norm with solomining as I've never done it. Am I expected to have a couple of rejects before I hit a block for myself?

i was having the same problem solo mining this coin. i think the key was to change the queue/scan-time/and expiry as i dont get many rejects anymore. there are still rejects, but maybe 5% instead of 50%.

this is for a 7970 (will get 700+ kh/s using these settings):

im on windows and had to run this command first in command prompt or i would get hardware errors:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

then start up cgminer:
cgminer.exe  --expiry 2 --scan-time 2 --queue 0 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale --scrypt -o ... -u ... -p ...

Scrypt Pools had many problems and many coins were lost due to multiple payout problems. I was in over my head the moment the pool went past 500 mh/s. I did my best to keep it running but I failed. I'm embarassed and truly sorry. I will find a way to get enough doges to process the rest of the payouts and reinstate my credibility.

the reason that your rejects are so low is that when you find what might be a stale you no longer submit it, so no rejects are tallied. you are rejecting them before submitting.

Wouldn't that only matter if I was mining on a pool? I left that part of the cgminer config in there after switching from a pool to solo.

I do still get rejects solo mining, but they look like this:
Found block for pool 0!
Rejected 0029cba7 Diff 23.6K/15381 BLOCK! GPU 0

Would you recommend I take out the "--no-submit-stale" from my cgminer config? I'm not really sure how it effects solo mining.

When I was solo mining for the first time I left it on for a few hours and my rejects to accepted ratio was about 10 to 1. That's when I discovered the scan-time / expiry / and queue parameters. Due to the rate at which Fastcoin blocks are generated, the default cgminer settings were causing my miners to work on blocks that were already solved (from what I understand). After adjusting those parameters I started getting a much better ratio of accepts to rejects.

Wow, that's not good.

Had a similar experience with http://fastcoin.miningpool.co/. Found over 55 blocks (~1,760 coins) in the past 24 hours yet was only paid 725 Fastcoin so I've switched back to solo. Will see if the pool owner responds to my email sent a few hours ago.

Is that kind of return expected for pooled mining? I did expect to return less than solo mining, but not over 50% less.

Scrypt Pools had many problems and many coins were lost due to multiple payout problems. I was in over my head the moment the pool went past 500 mh/s. I did my best to keep it running but I failed. Same issue here with CryptoBullion's Fastcoin Mining Pool http://75.134.182.16:10502/index

Have mined there before & got regular payouts but mined there today for an hour with 1.7Mh/s and got nothing, even though I found 6 blocks (all confirmed).

How about this.. contact support.  We want people at that pool to move to our new one that works perfectly, fast.ub3rl33t.com

We had shut down the pool to encourage people to move to the new pool.. and then people complained to turn it back on.  Email us and we will square your account and send you whatever you are short.
