Not only for online games, should be used for everything, i hope that steam platform is not the only one that start accepting it, btw better than bitcoin as payment for online games, why not online games that pay in satoshis? xD, you know, you kill one "mob" and you get 1 satoshi, farm guys will be there 24/7  |

I need your opinion about having bitcoin for payments in online games, it is good or nah?
Using bitcoin as payments for in-game items and upgrades is very useful since many people are capable of technology devices though bitcoin and online games are done by computers.
I thinks its very efficient for me as a gamer and a bitcoin user to have a transaction or payment like that.
I think it is a good idea to use bitcoins for online games because bitcoin is a digital currency, fast and reliable. we must first treat bitcoin as a currency before the rest of the world will do the same. As you said it yourself, both video games and bitcoin share the same technology which is computer and internet. Now you see the connections yourself. I strongly advice you to use bitcoin for video gaming purposes whether making payments to play or receiving one, it is such a great idea. |

Why not many gamers will be happy even gambling is also a type of game, but still using our own money, then convert to bitcoin so others play with gambling. I'm not a gamer, but I think it's less likely that bitcoin will be used of payment. Via wallet? It's possible, but still need to convert on bitcoin. Bitcoin must first be as wide as the world before it happens, especially now everyone knows that bitcoin is not stable.

As of now bitcoin is used as a way of payment for bets or online game betting. It will be great when we can use bitcoin in buying online items in those games that we play. It will be a big help and inconvenience.

I am using bitcoin to buy games online like in steam because aside from bitcoin, i am also addicted to gaming from video games to different kind of gaming things like laptop, pc, consoles and many more. I am planning next year to have a gaming channel in youtube so i can earn money while having some fun in gaming and i will put my earnings in bitcoin so i can have a great combination of opportunity.

Why no ? I use bitcoin for that too especially when btc price is high and i had enough balance it's make me more efficiemt for buy game with btc, with small amount of btc (if btc prices high). |

Why no ? I use bitcoin for that too especially when btc price is high and i had enough balance it's make me more efficiemt for buy game with btc, with small amount of btc (if btc prices high). You have a point. when the bitcoins price is high then it is worth to do any investment with bitcoins. We can buy anything with less amount of bitcoins. I agree to bitcoins for online games. But when the bitcoin price is the normal rate that time fiat currency is best. |

,well i was thinking that this has been already implemented, and bitcoins was already used as a method of payment usually from gaming platforms. I have also seen lots of popular gaming platforms that offers bitcoin as a payment for their items, stuffs and other purposes,and one of the most commonly being encountered situations are those betting sites.

Dota 2 - buying E cards.
LOL- I Don't play Lol but, i Think they are also Using bitcoin As payment For upgrades of suits Just Like in Dota 2. i never heard Any Games, Only This Two Popular addictive games.

I also think that bitcoin as a payment for in game purchases is actually a very good idea. But the main problem in it would be the transaction time, it takes too long to confirm the transaction and sometimes it takes more than a hour, and gamers doesn't have that much patience so they would preferably use PayPal or any other service. |

Well for me, as a fellow gamer like you. I've experienced first hand using bitcoin as payments on online games and I must say, it's really convenient. There is no hassle going to a store to buy points for the games you want so that you can buy skins or others things you want, plus the transaction is very fast. So all in all, I'd say it is good for bitcoin to be used for payments on that field. |

it is good i made apk game users send some bitcoins to my game address and satoshi appear like coins they use this coins to buy guns , trank and other things and play .

As a gamer the idea of me using somthing that i earned throught internet to pay for my microtransactions is a good thing, but as a bitcoin investor it is not a good idea, because not only does it make the bitcoin lose its value but also makes lose money more than i will benefit from spending it,because the price of the bitcoin is constantly getting higher spending 20$ worth of bitcoin now on a game, may mean that you spent 40$ tomorow, i am not saying it is not a good idea, hell i even did it once, but i think its only good for the people who have a good amount of bitcoin and don't care about saving it that much they just want to get imediat profit from it.

I think it's very nice and nice, because bitcoiN owners only need internet to make transactions. then make it easier to transact, what if more and more platfrom using bitcoiN as a means of payment the better bitcoiN development. because now we must be prosecuted with technology. I hope more and more bitcoiN users so bitcoiN getting accepted in the community. |

I've been using an app where you use BTC to buy game credits like steam wallets, cherry credits, level up, garena shells etc., but being able to buy in-game items sounds like a good idea, you can take advantage of dumps and pumps. Gamers let's hope for the best.
