I accept that maybe it has some faults within the qualities if you want bitcoin to adapt to the real world, but if we want the world to adapt to bitcoin and its incredible proposal then I think it could not have better options than the ones offered as alternative virtual currency. This is the negative, but it has many more positive qualities than negative, you have to accept it.

Bitcoin has had huge impact on real world but mostly because of blockchain technology that can really change the world drastically Wink

This is the correct statement — blockchain already has an impact on the world economy and even industry. Bitcoin sure is a virtual currency, but it has a great influence on even those, who do not deal with it.

Bitcoin does exist in the real world and for sure it has a role. You can use it for the transactions between countries with low fees and fast time

I love how a NEW user with no experience or education on bitcoin makes a post like this, and gets his ass handed to him.

Bitcoin has a role, but I won't bother explaining what others already have.
Plus the newb OP is just a negative propaganda troll.

I'm not sure speculation about this bitcoin does not play a role in the real world, if using bitcoin in your mind helps people who give hope in daily routine in life for people and help every country's economy accept bitcoin as currency by using volatile , for example the role of bitcoin gives this and gives a good income.

In some countries, bitcoin can be used directly for offline payment, and some countries accept the use of bitcoin to book hotels, so it is not useless in reality. Instead, there are not many channels in reality supporting the use of bitcoin.

BTC has no role to play in the real world affairs. People who try to create such a role are confused between asset and currency. The design itself only considers pure virtual activity with no touch with real world. People also mistake the buzz words such as "peer-to-peer", "border-less", "decentralised" etc as the problems to be solved. But sadly these are not real problems. The insignificant problems (speed and fees) are hardly enough to sell and these problems are going away anyway. I have no respect to Nakamoto because he ignored the most important element (govt and authorities) in social situation and still want to sell it as some solution to social situations. Hardly any country has regulatory framework that deals with btc.

The problems are rooted in the philosophy of crypto, not in the code. So, the beauty of blockchain tech is irrelevant for btc. It is like selling a bad app by showing how great Android is.

1) Bitcoin does not provide controlled visibility, because it doesn't recognise the existence of governments. Now if you make changes to provide visibility to authorities, ALL privacy is gone. If you don't, then ALL visibility is gone.

2) Fees are rooted in the design. Whatever consensus you invent for a public blockchain, you can't escape rewarding the work of validating transactions. So zero fees are not possible.

Public blockchains sacrifice all good qualities of a business application for the sake of trust-less environment which is not even actually a problem to solve in many contexts. Also they make it extremely costly to run small amount of code or small storage. Who wants their business code to be validated by all arbitrary people in the world?

Most ICOs are sharing economy concepts similar to uber model. Lack of a responsible intermediary and costs will make these "innovations" to fail, if they ever have to touch real-world activities.

Bulk of the blockchain activity will move to business collaborations which might not even look like a blockchain. Crypto coins will be used in most business blockchains, but these coins will be value-less tokens and very specific to the business or institutional activity.
You are wrong. Bitcoin has a great role in our economy. There are now many people who using bitcoin as daily payment. I know that our society will become cashless society because of the cryptocurrencies.

If it has no role in real world, no real people bought it! The reality shows that Bitcoin has its own role in the advancement of technology and currency market. Imagine 50 years later when your grand children talk about Bitcoin, it's gonna be legendary!

Do not know if you ever heard a philosophical, "Existence is reasonable," you think bitcoin is useless to us, but how many people Bitcoin saved when you were not clear, it saved the unemployed, to some family hope If you think some coins are meaningless tokens, then the notes are meaningless tokens, except that they are given the currency meaning.

I do not agree with your opinion. Why do you think it's not useful in the real world? I think it plays a very important role in life. We can see it as a job to feed us. You can use it as a payment method. Online shopping, travel ...

If this post claiming that bitcoin do not have role in the real world then this post must be non sense at all, the forum , your bitcoin and also the traditional ones. If this ain't real then the prices , value or numbers on your screen generally is just an illusion. We can use it in real world so why are you doubting about its legitness ? thus it helps the people to earn money.

Bitcoin has had huge impact on real world but mostly because of blockchain technology that can really change the world drastically Wink

Mining in the real world relies on value-for-money, and exchange principles work. Digging in the Bitcoin world requires Bitcoin to be exchanged for other goods to realize value, which means that the value of Bitcoin is only evident when large quantities of goods are available for payment in Bitcoin. At present, the payment by bitcoin can also be realized. The bitcoin payment received by the merchant can not be deposited into the real bank and must be traded or exchanged again in the bitcoin ecosystem for real money and other commodities. This constitutes a primitive ecosystem The early market economy ecology. So bitcoin has played an important role in the world.

Yes, blockchain technology can really change the world, but in fact, few people will admit that they will only consider it a useless technology and think that what is created has no real value, but they will not understand it .

Yes, I also think that bitcoin is useless in reality, at least for now, because it is virtually impossible for many countries to ban Bitcoin transactions.

I entirely disagree with your comment. It means alot in the real world. Even most of the forum member will also disagree with your comment. It has real value & its value is increasing at nice pace. I am using btc since 1+ year & I am happy I don't need to pay high fees as compare to bank charges & apart from this btc is giving me financial freedom too, for me it has a real role/value.
Low fees? In which world are you lmfao? BITCOIN has one of the highest fees in cryptocurrency and is useless for micropayments

How is it any different than what banks have been doing for over 20 years? same with Visa, Mastercard? nothing... it's nothing spectacular. It's just the same technology that's been around with a twist on it. How does that make it the future, please explain.
