Anyone want to speculate on how high the price might get within the next 3-6 months? I got about a measly 2k of eBTC tokens. Would be nice if they rose to about $5 bucks.
Easy it will be there in 3-5 months or less! ebtc is btc on the eth platform so its 10 times cheaper to transact than btc! It's MUCH faster than btc. There are so many crap coins that do nothing and are worth 100's of millions. ebtc is better than most of them.

If millions of coins were lost between swaps and old ebtc coins stayed in exchanges, then this will only make the new ebtc much more valuable!!!

@Mayssam, You posted to fast, I actually updated my original post. @mayssam, That 13.5MM number comes from the time I first audited at 17:48pm UTC. You can see my post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2210565.msg23813326#msg23813326I just performed a new audit at 21:22PM UTC and now the number is 13,243,337.15 EBTC which means that there have been some corrections but still the number is the 13MM mark. Remember, if you didn't have your EBTC in your ETH wallet of which you hold the private key too, not an exchange, that means your EBTC quantity that you used to have is burned and is apart of the EBTCOLD. You can never get those back unless you buy them on the new exchange. As of right now, there are 7MM EBTC whom have yet to either been swapped due to this probably. I say 7MM because I think 500k to 1MM goes to the EBTC team for continuing development, marketing, and other business related expenses. So that means the exchanges themselves now hold the 7MM EBTC if they decide to claim them. If not, they are burned!!!!! Its not hard to keep track of it. If you want to also perform your own audit just use the following URL: https://etherscan.io/token/0xeb7c20027172e5d143fb030d50f91cece2d1485dAnd scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Download CSV" From there just open it in Excel or Google SPreadsheet and sum up the Quantity!!! Lastly, if you click on the "Token Holders" tab, you can see how the swap was divided up. There are 4545 token holders of EBTC. So basically, if you want some EBTC, you now have to pay on the exchange. Peace Out!!!

hi , I bought ebtc last week .. dont know about the swap and it decreased a lot. May i know whats caused this ?
Last night, a swap was done, where for everyone holding their eBTC in a wallet like MEW, got credited 1:1 with a new eBTCNEW coin. The old eBTC are worthless. If you had your eBTC in an Exchange wallet last night and are only realizing that a Smart Contract swap was done now, I'm sorry to say but you're shit out of luck on getting the new eBTCNEW. It's sort of like a Bitcoin Fork, except with an ERC-20 Token called eBTC through a Smart Contract.

So the swap happened, but not without a hitch. Still watching to see if this project will begin to recover and erase the stain of the Satoshi21 abuse of trust...

FUD. Happened without a hitch for everyone who had there shit together last night and their Tokens out of Exchanges before the swap. The Devs Smart Contract worked perfectly.

"The eBTC Foundation team has no intention to pursue any kind of development on these old eBTC tokens and we are advising the community to keep them as a memorabilia. They will be of no value, and hence any kind of trading with the OLD eBTC tokens should be stopped immediately."https://www.reddit.com/r/eBTC/comments/79ttzz/old_ebtc_token_what_should_we_do_with_it/Come on guys. You know better then that. I have over 8k coins I could dump to some poor sap but don't need that karma. You will make good money doing it the right way with the ebtcnew.

so with all the coins that were not swapped will that mean that the new eBTC doesn't truly have 21mil supply, but less?
