They are coming over from competitive copycat ecoins to spread fud. Since they know we will check their posting history and see their association to competitive coins they are now creating new accounts. lol Pathetic.

Next thing I knew, few weeks later, they disappeared on etherdelta.  Investigating what happened, it turned out my tokens were renamed from EBTC to EBTCOLD.    I continued researching and found on twitter that EBTC had morphed to a new coin and was swapping them at a certain block.  This announcement was only about a week before it was to occur.    It said your tokens had to be in a private wallet at the time.   Only one week notice!   It was already past the block that they arbitrarily designated when I noticed it a few days after the arbitrary deadline.   Thinking they couldn't not honor tokens bought less than a month earlier, I transferred (transaction https://etherscan.io/tx/0x977916a9a90bebe25bd891f42f959d1aa9b7d846171fab6175a39e288ddd1bd8) into my private wallet from etherdelta the now called EBTCOLD tokens and now they sit as symbol EBTC_ perhaps because the OLD won't fit in the IMTOKEN design.   Anyhow it appears I was scammed due to not getting the new coins.   How many times can they do this?    The only reason I got into it was my taking what is now bad advise from OMAR (Crypt0) on youtube who was pumping it.    Can EBTC really continue to scam people like this?   I would obviously expect that my tokens should be swapped for the new ones but this hasn't happened.

You weren't scammed, you didn't do your own due dilligence and just like anyone else with any other investment class who doesn't keep up to date in their investments you lost your money.  You are a victim of your own mismanagement of your own investments.  If you were scammed, you scammed yourself.

Specific details of the swap was spoken about here every single day for at least 2 weeks before the swap, also on Telegram, Twitter, Medium, published on the first thing on the Website.  Heck on the day of the swap and for a few days before I personally posted several times on the EtherDelta chat about the swap to make sure people put tokens on their personal wallet.  

This time you paid 320 eBTC for the simple lesson that its your responsibility to always check up on your own individual investments.  No one else will do it for you.  The team made announcements on ALL channels available to them.  It was up to you and you alone to read just one of those announcements.  If you go in blindly in any investment you will always lose your money.  

EtherDelta is a decentralized exchange, that makes it a Trustless System. The owners of Etherdelta doesn't have access to the tokens in the smart contract if they did then there is a possibility that they could run off with everyone's coins at any time.  In a centralized exchange the owners does have access to all the tokens in their exchange, they can and sometimes do run off with investor money if they choose to.  

Before you invest any more in any cryptocurrency please take time to learn everything you can about blockchain technology, learn about all the exchanges you do business with, learn as much about every coin you invest in and keep frequent updates on all of them.  If you cannot do those basic things you shouldn't be investing because you will always lose your money.

Don't shit in people ears. Such pathetic attempts did not justify the scam. EBTC is a scam project. It is obviously. It scammed a lot of people. It is a question of time when it will make another scam scheme EBTCULTRANEW and steal money from another "investors".

Im a eBTC hodler since day one. Its been a huge rollercoaster of feelings, but never sold a coin. I think I have the privilege of beeing part of the first eXXX token,  a great community that took charge when things where hot even until this day helping everyone get their new tokens (I GOT MINE BTW) and even a greater (if thats the word) and fully committed team behind of this amazing community and token that will see many ATH in the future... wish I could do more, maybe I'll learn some new skills to put them to work for eBTC... for now I'll HODL!

Note: the team has never asked us for any kind of help financially... wow... they are doing everything and paying all costs themselves... they believe 100% in eBTC as we do...

Some did not follow the instructions and were burned for being negligent, then they want to come here and claim scam. Then you have the investors who are wondering why we haven't mooned yet. For fuck sake it's hardly 10 days old. I was one of the first investors in Vertcoin. We had days of $300 volume only!! and it looked dead for months while the devs were silently working behind seens. eBTC is seeing a huge following on telegram. Give it some time.

Agreed, Coins like vert literally had days of just hundreds of dollars in volume,  these things take time.  Some people here need to learn to have patience.

This coin has been through a lot. However, there are a lot of fake accusations in bitcointalk, if you're a true follower of a coin you won't get all of your information from one resource. There are multiple places to get information, and i truly believe the dev team that responds on Telegram is working hard on this.

People were skeptical in the beginning with the initial code error, and then when they said they were going to swap and people didn't think it was possible. Both of those things are resolved, if this was fake or there wasn't a dev team they couldn't/wouldn't have swapped this coin. Because they did, and did it well (I personally got my new coins with no issue) it means the devs believe in this as much as the rest of us or more.

There are almost 400 pages for this coin. That means people believe, still believe, and this coin is going to go places. I'm personally somewhat shocked by the low price people are selling this coin at. If i had more funds i would continue buying and buying, and even with the funds i have, i continue buying.

People creating fake accusations from what i've seen have no merit to do so, and aren't drawn out detailed accusations. If you're curious about the coin join the telegram, watch this coin, and be part of the community.
