Literally, bitcoin is not a gambling. It's a part of currency which is digitalize and utilize by the technology. We are spending our time and effort with bitcoin though we are spending our money for investing but eventually if you decides to sell your bitcoin you will have a benefit from that, that's why bitcoin is not still a gambling.

I disagree with this statement. Bitcoin is not gambling. It is an investment method. It uses the Internet and does some research on it instead of relying on luck.

I do not think bitcoin is gambling. Bitcoin is a digital transaction that requires knowledge, and is influenced by the market, by social media, and more, not just by betting.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Its not a gambling but its risky like gambling you can lose money or get more profit but the big different is gambling you need luck for you to win but on bitcoin is a investment that you can get profit or lose. Invest what you can afford to lose.

for me bitcoin is not gambling instead I see it as business opportunity...you gain interest, you join, and you somehow manage to invest thinking that your money will increase when time comes and then you profit and make a living out of it, you share, you save and invest again, it depends on how we look at it, and it is also depend on the attitude or motive we put into, it became gambling when you're too obsessed to it, and became greed over the money that you've got.

You should deal with it bro, you seem aggressive with your post. All in all bitcoin is gambling though for those who couldn't deduce the logic I spewed.Have a good time but leave the credit cards at home. Bitcoin generally has better odds, but still, invest your extra money, not your retirement or savings money.

There are many kinds of gambling and they are risking their money. I think bitcoin is not gambling. Because bitcoin is not betting money and in gambling there are winners or losers, while bitcoins are not.

I don't think so , but I'm using my time and money to invest it even though the price is up or down still we can not say its a gambling . Bitcoin is not gambling, we all know that it is a volatile digital currency invented by Satoshi Nakamoto. Investing on it is very risk and I think that is the reason why it might be called "gambling". Maybe for me it is like a metaphor in which investing on bitcoin is like gambling that is so risky since bitcoin is so volatile and unpredictable.

People think it's gambling because this industry has not matured yet. New people coming to this industry is only thinking about making quick money, these folks panick of minor drop and start selling, this makes this currency more volatile.

For me bitcoin is not gambling. Bitcoin as an investment because of the risk can be reduced. It does not depend on internal settings but rather on demand and market supply. Technology is also influenced by the speculative thinking of people involved in the bitcoin market so that the factors that affect bitcoin are far from the factors that affect the outcome of gambling alone.

It is very easy to type: 'gambling definition' in the little search box on your browser. And yes, #2 applies to investments.

Bitcoin is not a gambling nor gambling or illegal purpose also. The electronic or vitual coin just like bitcoin is merely created to lessen the cost in spending electronic money in commercial banks and ease the process in all transactions. It is a crypto that use in all means of transaction; aside from that bitcoin is a instant investment which helps all people to earn money without working hard or exerting too much effort for it.

In a way it is. No one knows what will happen from day to day. We could wake up tomorrow and see that it has reached 100k$ or that it has tanked. It is a gamble until maybe like 20 years when the technical analysis has enough data to be of any use.

of course it is not gambling. what do you say if someone works and is paid using bitcoin? is it a gamble? of course not. I feel that bitcoin is a currency not yet recognized. gambling or not it all depends on how to use it.
