There are many without any knowledge about bitcoin, just have heard about it and the people who multiplied their money with bitcoin. They invest in bitcoin, wait and do nothing. For them bitcoin is a gamble.

If you think that bitcoin is gambling, then you are a dumbass who does not even know how does bitcoin works. No offense, but this kind of accussations towards bitcoin have been created more than 100's of times in here. There is nothing new with this. |

Bitcoin is more of investment. It is legal investment of your money, time and effort. Bitcoin can give you a huge money in legal ways. The mobey you earned here is a hard earned ones. In gambling, the money you will earned is called easy one. |

I also do not believe that this is gambling. Since you rely not on an accidental outcome, but on your knowledge and consciously choose how and where you invest. |

Bitcoin is not gambling. Is investment but as every investment has associated risk that make it seems gambling so is bitcoin. Gambling is a game of chance but bitcoin is not. Is based on demand and supply.

Also in the casino you invest your money and time, so this is not a criteria. The point is that you buy Bitcoin not because you need it to buy things, but because you hope it will rise in price, instead of dropping in price. And of course it could go either way, you cannot guess it for sure. This IS gambling.

I agree with this topic that bitcoin is not gambling. Bitcoin is a digital currency and gambling service providers add bitcoin as their preferred currency option. We all know that gambling can use anything as long as something has a price and any currency can be used to gamble including the bitcoin that is now the currency most in demand by everyone who knows it.

Bitcoin Not gambling. I do not know people say the bitcoin was gambling to see from which angle, which I clearly understand is the bitcoin crypto currency used for investment and trading methods. Some even say bitcoin is the currency used for online payments around the world, because bitcoin is well known to everyone in the world. So I say again that bitcoin is not gambling. |

If people say bitcoin is gambling, we need to agree that share market is also gambling. However, bitcoin is a kind of digital currency and the way the price grows has many reasons like correction, market cap, people buy or sell more bitcoin etc and there's no gambling takes place here.

Stocks, mutual funds, and bonds also have risks associated with it but people don't consider it gambling. The right term would be Bitcoin is an investment. Gambling is using money for entertainment and games. Investing is another thing. It is a wise way of generating passive income.

In my own opinion investing and trading in bitcoin is gambling but the probability is high to have a profit if you're investing while trading need special skills to profit which maybe bigger profit than investing

If you think crypto is a gambling then it is. Till now I never felt crypto market is gambling and it is just like share market. You can see people who are waiting patiently are getting paid in 2 or 3 time on their investment, but in gambling we have only one choice either we can win or we can loose. |

But most of the people use it for gambling. Around 90% of bitcoin is used for gambling. And most of them are locked away by FBI. So the remaining is used for trading. So as per me yes bitcoin is directly related to gambling.

I agree with you. Bitcoin isn't Gambling because of Bitcoin is a online based currency and on the other hand Gambling isn't a currency which defined as betting. |

If you see bitcoin as a risky thing, bitcoin is somehow a gamble in luck to win or lose. Bitcoin can be used in gambling as a mode of bet or payment, but bitcoin itself is not gambling. For me, bitcoin is a currency that also acts as an investment due to its ability to gain profit. It is quite risky yet worth it for a long run. |
