Yes of course it is not gambling. Bitcoin is a digital currency. It actually depends on how you use it. If you use it as a currency then there's no gambling at all. But by the time you enter trading, there's a bit of gamble there because the risk is just like you are gambling. But if you buy and hold till you can gain profit, it is not gambling; it is investing into something that you believe it will give you profit when the right time comes. So, that's all for my opinion.

of course it is not gambling because when investing in bitcoin we can't know the results soon. in game, we can know it is win or lose after a play. for those who do not believe in the future of Bitcoin or those who are not yet believe in bitcoin, this is really like gambling. success or failure, It is not possible to predict

Why do you think it's gambling? I do not have to gamble it, because we know that if we spend money in it, our money will increase further. And so we spend our money. But Bitcoin gives us something better. And change the future. So we can not call it gambling. Now you can expect good things in future if you buy bitcoin. Because you know it will be more valuable in the future. As you know it will cost you much more in the future. So how can we call it gambling?

Bitcoin is not a gambling, it's a digital currency with a higher value in the crypto world. Gambling can be a method in order to earn bitcoin. There are campaigns that will let you gamble and it is always up to your skills and decision in order to win out of gambling. Therefore, Bitcoin is not gambling.

Bitcoin is not gambling, although many think so, because they judge from the point of view of people who do not understand about bitcoin, whereas much can be done with bitcoin among others by following a project bounty bitcointalk which can also make money.......

Of the reasons why other people think that bitcoin is gambling because maybe some use it as a payment and maybe because some of the people they knew earn money through bitcoin without profit but is not a gambling it is an investment because you invest your, time, effort and hard work to earn some profits.

i don,t know why people are saying that it is gambling.Bitcoin is a crypto currency and exhibits all the qualities of a virtual money, there is no way one can Bitcoin can be compared to Gambling. Gambling can be defined as taking risk in hope of better results, one can put some money in casino, betting or any other sport. In gambling only thing which works is probability but when you put money in Bitcoin can be termed as Investment rather than Gambling, moreover Bitcoin being a currency is further used by the people for Gambling but having Bitcoin cannot be termed as Gambling.

There is a thin line between what some consider investing vs gambling. Buying a penny stock is gambling to most, but buying Apple stock is investing. Apple can go up or down, and has no guarantees of any sort of return on your investment. The main difference is Apple is considered more stable than a penny stock. Some stocks lose half their value or more, but are still considered investments. Investments can lose money. To me, Bitcoin is an investment. Some buy it to make a quick buck. Some buy it to hedge against global currency uncertainty. Others buy it for real use-case applications and transacting with people around the world.

Yes it is not gambling, literally, if you are not using it to bet for any gambling game. What makes bitcoin a gambling scheme when you take risk of investing your money on it. But mostly, people are always thankful to bitcoin for changing their lives.
Bitcoin is not gambling . But the truth is, it is associated with gambling .it seems like gambling because of the fact of loosing money. Well, your bitcoin may grow or loss depending on how you wisely handle your bitcoins. Bitcoin is just like other currency, it may pump or dump. Volatility is a gesture of bitcoin which allow people to see it as gambling, bitcoin may show sudden change with its value. Bitcoin is not gambling, its more like an investment which shows return due time.but you need to be careful.

That's the bad side of medi these days, many people still don't know. How bitcoin really works, as we can see the trend of bitcoin these past few weeks is been up and down, many of this people have a bad image because how bitcoin traders, miners can earn so much money using internet conveniently and easy. Thus media people still adding up there clouded thoughts about bitcoin. To be hinesr it's not gambling, it's a way lot different to trading and mining, your investment is time and risk of trusting your money will take increase of asset. Bitcoin is not gambling, it is good way to earn money without evolving killing and crime, or any type of illegal activities

Bitcoin investment is not gambling, it requires technical and intellectual support, you can analyze, and then to determine the direction of the purchase, gambling is one-way, Bitcoin investment is two-way.

Technically bitcoin is not a gambling instead it is an investment which could be a big help to its investors. Bitcoin is risky and I guess it was already given and natural to it, bitcoin can be used in gambling but the term gambling if we would relate it to bitcoin is too far to consider.

Bitcoin is more of a currency, it only seems a gamble because of its risk in volatility, but before we invest we should be ready to accept the risk. So technically its a currency, since it is common in the market that there is always ups and downs, but still bitcoin is alive, and you need to work hard.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is a currency. You cant say money is gambling itself. But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin, now it is gambling. Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days, but you know it might also drop. There is still win or lose in it, so basically its still gambling. The process is gambling, not bitcoin itself. That's right. I think some people mistake it for gambling, specifically those who are trading or investing. Since the value of many coins in the market, including Bitcoin, may come up or down in a snap, they think that it's like gambling when they do invest or trade because its like to playing the coins only through luck. However, that is not the case because the means to gain profit from cryptocurrencies is different from how it works when you gamble. When you gamble, and you lose, you totally lose the money or asset you gambled for, as supposed to cryptocurrencies, wherein even if you fail, you don't lose the asset, instead you lose some capital in relation to how much money you used to buy or get the coin. There might be some similarities in terms of having sudden changes of the assets, but market movements are not synonymous with game of luck.
