There are many negative comments abount participating in ICOs nowadays because it might be scam or it may not succeed. If you are planning to join in any ico, have a research first regarding the ICO you're planning to join. See their project if it has a potential to succeed or not.

Many people are not interested with ICO's because of some news of being scammed and others just fail. But for me there are still good ICO's out there, it is just a matter of how well you do your researching and background checking. If you do those things then I think you are good to go. Always be cautious when investing.

Participation in ICO has gradually become insecure. It depends on the attitude of various governments and more and more scams appear. This makes ico's profits smaller and smaller.

There is always a certain danger. The risk is very high - no one can guarantee that the startup will not bend, and you will not lose your money. Legally ICO is not regulated at all. If ICO fails, you can not claim your money back, and all purchased tokens and coins are depreciated.

ICO has never been under the supervision of the state, so it doesn't talk about being protected. You need to know that it doesn't even need any experience to launch a project now, as long as you're touting. And no one can make any real impact on the team. It means that even if they don't pay the money, you can't help it.

Any investment is a big risk.
Especially ICO.
There are a lot of scammers on the market, they often pretend to be a very good project. Every day it becomes more difficult and more difficult to recognize scammers

It is always risky to invest in unknown products. Just like non-ICO investments. Recently there was an ICO where the guy just shut the project down and ran away with people's money. From the very beginning he wanted to scam people and get some money. No matter how promising the project might look there's always a chance that you can get scammed. Unless of course if Elon Musk or Bill Gates are backing that ICO.

We are in a market that is not well managed and controlled. ICO projects can be formed and built in any form. All are risky when investing. with caution and specific considerations, along with a knowledge and experience to follow and analyze to see how good is the company and whether the companies really value their strategy development or just one the project is built on bad ideas and temporary formations.

Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
Well it is a risk, you invest your money for alt coin and your profit depends if the ICO will succeed. Well for me it is not safe to invest big cash to ICO, there are alot of ICO are good there are scams too. If you want to earn more from ICO, you have to chose good one and take risk to invest.

Investment is always  a risk. You should deeply analyze a project before start of investment:
Check Founders and Team(check linkedin profiles, google them)
Look into bounty thread for rank of bounty manager - it should be high.
Read WhitePaper
Analyze technology they provide and is it realy usefull.
And so on.

Participation in ico projects is a very good prospect for the future, but very risky as most projects after fundraising leave the market  Embarrassed

Yes its absolutely safe to participate in ICOs , they are however very unpredictable and can either succeed or fail. caution should however be taken when investing and proper research be done about the coin that is to be invested in

Safe of not is totally depend on your own. I think most people will need to do their research on the coins that want to invest in order to avoid huge losses. Participate in ICO's is actually similar as invest in IPO, but the dfference might be ICO process faster than IPO, but the risks is much more fluctuate than IPO. But if we do our own home work, everything will be fine.

It is definitely safe to join an ICO, though there are really lot of scums but you will be able to identify this easily if you will just do some research. Also, if you're not sure you can always seek help on this group and you will only need to post your questions so you can get suggestions.

Only invest what you are willing to lose. Dont put your money all in one basket. Proper financial planning is important in every investment we make. Try looking in in SafeCrypt.io. A high security exchange that has high standards of quality and every piece of software is being tested multiple times before they make it publicly available.
I spent some time to study SafeCrypt ICO. I think this ICO could become one of the best this spring, because of several reason:
 1. This is cryptoexchange. And this cryproexchange has some advantages compare to existing ones: instant transactions, lowest fees, absolute anonimity, large select of crypto assts and others.
 2. They lead very good ICO policy.
 3. THey have Adequate and reasnable bonus rates.

Participating in ICO is something between and investment and a gamble. In the past you'd partecipate in ICOs hoping for a rapid increase in price once the tokens hit the market. Lately the token's price tanks after hitting the exchanges, so that it becomes more convenient to buy them there instead of at the ICO.

You have to examine ICOs before you invest in it. Take your time, study such ICO closely, join their telegram group and other social media channels available so that you can get update concerning the ICO.
