Alright guys, this is my experience with Hextra so far. Bought 1500 coins in the ICO. Sold 10 coins first day of internal exchange. Tried withdrawing the btc with no luck. Lent $5010 first day of lending, which was 334 hxt at the time. Successfully withdrew my btc the next day. Now waiting for my first interest payment. Will try to withdraw the interest in btc just to see that everything works. I'll keep you updated how it goes.
Let's just say, it didn't go so well. Site is down for a week (!) of maintenance. I really hope they honour my interest payments for this downtime, but not counting on it.

Down for 1 week? And all funds tied up during the fork. Sounds like a lot of fun.

All in all it's the most unprofessional ICO i ever got into..

Coins almost impossible to get, buggy site, unable to withdraw until you had 50HXT from ICO..

Then it came with the exchange, but the first days rate was too late for the lending..
Then i was unable to withdraw just 30 USD worth of BTC to test due too server issues..
Then i was number 2149 in withdraw queue AND i'm still waiting on my coin.

I hope they'll return, but i don't get my hopes up. 7 days is far too long and i'm guessing HXT will lose about 70% of it's value by then.
They should keep at least the lending up so you can check the rates, payouts, etc.

Closing the complete site is just unprofessional, but that was obvious from the start due too the lack of support.
They didn't even announce this and were only live with the exchange less than a day!

For prosperity:

I Invested 200HXT of 3180USD value yesterday at a rate of 1.35+0.15, which would net me 300+USD by next week.
Still have 200HXT in wallet.

Waiting on 0.004BTC to test from Yesterday.. Still nothing..

Yes, and thousands are waiting with you.. I was number 2149 and they were near 550 when they went into maintenance.. IF they get back, i don't expect the BTC for at least a week.

Communication is not their strong suit.. No message in advance, nothing on their FaceBook, nothing here. Piss poor marketing and PR.

If they come back and they will get their value up from the devaluation which is gonna happen next week from people dumping to get the hell out.. They will have everything 100% fixed and offer an extra incentive for people to stay.
Extra HXT, extra HXG.. Otherwise i guess 60% will dump their coin.

Well, first I was frustrated that I couldn't purchase Hextra, then I was relieved after I missed my 10th time and gave up.  Then I was frustrated that when I tried to withdraw my bitcoin I would get errors, then I was relieved when after 5 attempts it 'appeared' the transfer went through.  Now it's been 24-hours and I still haven't received my withdraw and see the site is down for maintenance.  As others have said.  Worst.  ICO.  Ever.

I'm secretly hoping the withdraws still run ATM, as that would be a good sign and would mean less data for them to manage.
As IF they are back.. The HXT should still in wallet, lending system, exchange, we should have 7+ days of interest built up..
AND withdrawals should still be listed in queue.. A lot of data to manage.
It would be far less data if withdrawals are paid out, coins on exchange returned to respective BTC/HXT wallets.
Then all they need is backup wallets and lending system..

But still, i won't get my hopes up i see my coin next week or that we can get out if we want to. I've been in Crypto for 4/5 years.
I've seen this all before (cloud mining.. LTCGear, GAWMining, Hashie, Cloudthink, GigaHash, ..), site issues and then poof, gone.
Or like LTCGear and Hashie trying to scam people even after going belly up..

If you put money into one of these lending sites you have to walk in with the mindset that you've already been scammed for all your money. Then it will be a pleasant surprise if you get your money back. The money you put in should mean as much to you as the money you pay for a cup of coffee. Otherwise, you will most probably be very disappointed. That's the level of trust you can give these unproven lending sites.

Indeed, although i deposited more than i initially planned, that's the mindset i have.
I missed so many deals playing it safe.. Sometimes you have to risk some.. I only invested what i could afford to lose.
If lost, it won't ruin me. I still have coin i don't want to invest. This is just play money in a hot wallet (Exodus) for these kind of things..

Still, if they are really gone, i don't understand why they don't take more coin.. They were up for a month only.
If they created momentum, trustworthyness they would make 100x more just by staying up.
I expect all lending sites to crash at a certain level.. But after a month already?

If it IS only maintenance: they had the whole ICO to fix the site when they never did. There was much less data then during the day to worry about.

And i dislike the fact that they don't communicate.

Don't believe Hextracoin scammed, the site was bombarded by people that couldn't get during ICO. So it affected the site. Hextra will be back! Though the value would have dropped! The developers of the site did a good job and proved that they were prepared, so I don't think they should disappear like that.

Hextra should be back!

Isn't this a joke, the coin get pump for a day and the site went down for maintenace, even most active exchanges don't spend more than 30 mins for maintenance service, this doesn't sound good

Did you follow the same ICO as we did? The whole ICO itself was a clusterfuck, 95% of people could not get in. Not only due too the many visitors, but the site could not handle the load and had other login and captcha failures. They could have easily fix the site then, instead of waiting until everyone was using the site to invest, buy, sell, lend, withdraw.

Obviously the were NOT prepared or they would have fixed things earlier or had a 1 day maintenance.
It's a simple fix, not 7 days to fix withdraws and exchange.

Besides: advertise these maintenances a few days before. Not while 80% are still waiting on their withdrawals!

I was ID 2148 and they were not processing mine yet..

If they cheat, they have disappeared from the beginning ... when people can not afford HXT and people are scared, wanting to be able to withdraw btc. I think, they do not cheat! Problem: Devs or maybe they had not had enough time to complete the loan system (site) ... I also lost 10 days to be able to buy HXT, I also have trouble like everyone. but I'm not scared! Because I have identified 'can lose' from the beginning!

Invest in capital you can lose! If scared, the Cryptocurrency world is not for you ...

Between this, regal coin lock ups, ethconnect, the bitpetite thing... etc.

I think its time to take a break.  Hopefully these guys are back up in a week, but who knows.
