rofl.

bids are final, if you could withdraw them at will, auctions would be a joke.

He already did, the seller bounced the payment when he didn't reply for a week.

This auction has turned out to be quite a mess. Is there anyway we can get a clear update as to what the current status is? It sounds like there is some interest and a lot of people including myself are a little lost with all the clutter.

Yeah.

Two times bidders backing out of their bid is insane, the whole auction makes no sense, then.

I myself was going to post an auction here, but I'm not sure about it any more...

You can always say that you withdraw offer if not satisfied.
Not popular but it is common here Sad

OP was trying to do something very complicated without understanding how BTC work or the culture of this forum.

Also his "house" is not exactly worth anything. I'm sure most people realized after the fact they were going to have to pay more in fees than the "house" was really worth.

This is true, he definitely should have said "building" instead, house is misleading to say the least.

That fact alone would be enough to invalidate the auction, if I made the rules, but...

I'm sure most people realized after the fact they were going to have to pay more in fees than the "house" was really worth.
...this is no excuse.

It was patently obvious there would have been fees involved, and despite the wrong wording it was clear anyway that it was an inhabitable building... it they bit without thinking, they are more guilty than the OP.

I agree, it is not an excuse. But people are people.

Also OP sold a different house with no reserve in a different auction and then voided the auction cuz he did not get the amount he wanted so really I don't feel too sorry for this chap.

I think it got archived into invisibility.

Basically what happened was that OP tried to pawn off another rotting deathtrap in the middle of nowhere. Which went pretty well until someone (ninjasmiley.gif) found the plot on a real estate site which showed the real state of the "house" and its status as being "only fit for deconstruction".
