depending on the meaning of the word "replace"...now people really are more interested in bitcoin, it has replaced gold in the matter of people's interest, but I don't think that people will massively start throwing gold and investing money in bitcoins...there will always be both

Agree. Replacing gold Wii Bitcoin is not practically possible when it comes to usage since both has different usage for people. But if you consider gold with Bitcoin for investment, yes Bitcoin would replace gold due to it's astonishing growth and the usage for transaction.

Actually Bitcoin would replace old currency tradition I would say. The investment portfolio on gold bonds or shares also would be replaced by Bitcoin in coming days.

I doubted it.
When it comes to value, yes bitcoin is much better, but not all people know about this cryptocurrency.  People these says are becoming more engaged with the investments in cryptos due to its price and might definitely replaced gold as an investment instrument BUT anything might happen in the future, bitcoin might fail or stop but the gold will always be there, this thing is a precious creation of our planet and no intangible things will replaced its existence and value.

- Gold still holds a place in the minds of many investors, it is still a safe and popular investment, it has existed for a long time, it is really prestige and brings confidence to many people, Bitcoin still has many factors that can not be compared to gold. Although I know that in recent years, people are gradually interested in bitcoin but they still do not trust bitcoin, bitcoin is still unbelievable, especially the profits and opportunities that it brings, that always makes people suspicious, so Bitcoin wants to replace gold, maybe it will need a long time

bitcoin will not replace gold. Gold is precious metal, it is considered a standard unit to measure the value of the currency. It has aesthetic value and bitcooin is not. Bitcoin is electronic money, in my country it has not been accepted. Maybe when the bitcoin finishes, gold still exists.

I think that it is the era of crypto currency now and people are becoming more conscious towards the earning of profits. But as far as gold is concern i don't think that BITCOIN will ever replace the gold in future too. Gold is very trust-able place to invest money, but there are some tricks and scams which can hack your account. It is not fully trust-able and secured.

No, it won't. Because Gold is a thing that you can touch and it has also a good value. But bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which you can not touch but it has also a very good value. So they are different from each other.

I do not think bitcoin will replace gold. Because bitcoin and gold are two completely different things. Most people are interested in the potential of bitcoin, in its rapid growth, in the fact that now no one can control it. Bitcoin and Gold works in different ways. Gold is metal,  bitcoin is a digital asset.

Gold in general is no better. The value of gold is nothing more than a result of a global consensus - at the moment everyone agrees to consider gold a measure of value, simply because this measure is in some form or another necessary. If we assume a utopian situation, that tomorrow everyone agrees that gold is not such a measure, then it will be good only for the production of quality wires and trinkets.
The btc is gaining momentum for exactly the same reason - the global consensus towards the btc is constantly being strengthened. In this case, unlike gold, the cue-ball is not only a measure of value, but also a settlement system, and gold is not a competitor for this parameter.

It won't replace gold, because gold is being used in the industry in electronic devices as an electricity carrier. Bitcoin doesn't have such usage. And they are not linked to each other, completely different things.

I agree with your opinion. gold is better because the gold is clear and looks real but please note we have entered the era of technology is not something impossible gold will be replaced with bitcoin.

Based from the bitcoin's price these past days, bitcoin can now replace a gold's value since one bitcoin cost more than $13,000 while gold only cost $1,300 per ounce too far from each other with almost 90% difference.

This is similar to asking ‘Will the US dollar replace gold as the standard store of value for investors’.

Most people (even myself at times) are making Bitcoin an A vs B proposition, when really it’s an A + B + C. You can invest in Gold, Silver, Bitcoin, Oil, the Yen and so many more ‘standard stores of value’ right now.

Bitcoin isn’t replacing any major store of value, it’s giving another option.

I agree bitcoin and gold have different worlds. Both serve their purpose in their own world because they have their own advantages and disadvantages. Gold in the physical world is good because you can hold it while bitcoin is in the digital world which is more advance because by just keeping it you can be profitable at the same time.

Bitcoin and gold have an investment value. The appearance of bitcoin never replaces the existence of gold. Gold will remain, only bitcoin is higher in value than gold.

bitcoin will replace gold universally, it will happen because bitcoin always increases and is good among people and investors will believe it. but the better currency of bitcoin will be the best of the two things that I think, it's just my opinion do not know the opinions of others.
