If you crypto currency trader you and buy and sell and when you feel you have a some profit you can withdraw your balance but if you hold your altcoin you can sell long time later , holding is a long tram system so be patience then you sell.
partially agree. altcoin in order to buy it and resell it for something better |

The Price of Cryptocurrency is very volatile so if you expect short term trading then maybe you'll lose some. but if you're a holder then be patience don't let your emotions ruin you. be positive at all times.

i have been hodling in alts for 5 months. I had 1.5 btc when i started. its value is 0.8 now. So...Its your desicion to hodl or not but i advice you to trade if you are good at it or stay in BTC.

That's okay, You should not be worry, all Traders go through that kind of disappointment. Especially you're just a beginner in the world of trading. It is hard to predict when the price of bitcoin will increase or when its dump. But because now that you have learned and have experience already, next time you know what to do. |

Right, as today's situation shows a great patience and holding BTC was the better policy than trading. However, it was unbearable for most of us to wait!
Different people come with different nature and like you have said, it is very difficult for everyone to control when prices are going higher. There is a greed factor coming in your minds that dude wait for more to come. And some are there who don’t wait when prices are going down. They can’t control their mind and sell bitcoins at cheaper rates, thus counting loss in their accounts. |

Maybe its wrong upon withdrawing earlier with your funds in trading,but making mistake will make you more strong... you earned something and it was a LEARNING so that next time you should have patience in trading bitcoin. because our investments earn few percent which means we should have earn it all and withdraw it.why not try to withdraw who knows that price that you withdraw is now riding on moon... |

Patience to the importance of trading, the importance of the subject is of utmost importance. If you want to achieve success in business then definitely need to take part. However, it will not be possible only if it is sitting on patiently. If it seems that the price will be reduced in the future even if the price is gradually decreasing, in my opinion then it is better to sell it.

yes,I am doing same as well.one of the big amount of btc I withdraw from bittrex but now btc up & up.
so I learn so much from my big mistake. holding is the best option to increase your money.
It's just because of the price of Bitcoin escalate quickly to the highest, no wonder peopl talking bs about how better holding it is than have to trade it. Now imagine if the alt coin price you hold escalating as high as Bitcoin or even better, what do you do? Remain talking about holding are better? I don't think so. |

It would be a different situation if bitcoin price never hikes up. A lot of people having full regrets about why they never hold it. In the first place, it's their own fault why they don't have any patience at all. Second, a majority of holders never thought of BTC reaching this kind of value. Why not move on and keep looking forward to other things. After all, there's limitless of opportunities with cryptocurrencies. It is just a matter of time which coin will get the next chance to pump up, what ICO or project will create more hype and succeed in the end.

Your strategy is wrong. You fear that you will eventually get down to the value of bitcoin currency. There are many traders are similar to what you have experienced and for the reason that they may lose some coin they are afraid to drop bitcoin value price and they will also be able to sell it at a lower cost than they buy it before. but it's all wrong thought. |

Patience should be done in our daily life. Since you made a mistake by withdrawing all of your earnings in trading then you have to moved on and keep going on because if you do not control your emotion then you won't make a progress in the future. So what if bitcoins keep on aiming high? It is not too late to start again. Face your fear and keep on trading. Fighting! |

I think you learn the trading very late. Since the principal of trading is Brought the bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is low and sell when the price is high. Do sell in panic and all.Just wait till the price of bitcoin reaches the high value. Just avoid of panic selling to rich in short time. The market is way too unpredictable as of few weeks. Bitcoin has been just constantly rising and reached a high of 19k on coinbase. It is pretty difficult to predict what a high will be. With these new future contracts coming in, the price will be more volatile than before. Although, your advice is the best way to trade - Be patient, sell at high, buy at dip. Correct, specially when bitcoin rise and alts go down. But if you sell your alts before it goes down when bitcoin rises, the more profit it can be because of the price of BTC. I have patiently wait for the alts but my profit is too low because of holding some alts that suppose to be 5X profit if i stay it for bitcoin only. Patience still not the key to earn more profit in trading. I think its the knowledge on how the market works specially if you are holding many currencies in the market. |

Yup for me patience is always the way don't get too excited if you don't have patience you'll just gonna lost a lot of money instead of getting profit from it, you will gonna make bad decision if you don't have patience that will lead to your loss that is why it is important to relax sometimes.
