Yes, patience is the key to success, when I tried to trade for the first time i was doing crazy things, like you said exchanging 10 or more times every time when price went little down i was panic selling and so 
I learned that you have to be calm and cold head when trading.

That thing usually happens to most of us. We failed to get the right timing on trading and selling. Bitcoin is so unpredictable, those who are new with this will really be having a hard time earning good amount of profit. But everytime I made a mistake, I come to better idea of investing with bitcoin and altcoins. I keep in mind that bitcoin value will high regardless of its sudden dumping and pumping.  To become more patient, I remind my self that bitcoin will always have a bright future there is no way it will crash.

I think the reason why you tend to exhange your earnings in a matter of short span of time is because you get excited and overwhelmed with your earnings which is really any new from bitcoin trading with do because you want and eager to get what you’ve been worked for so hard that’s why and I think is still okay because at least you would learn from it and you would be patient enough next time to held hold of your earnings in bitcoin and store it for a specific time and would just trade it if you would think that the market price is right enough for someone who is taking good care of his or her bitcoins for so long. Inpatient  is the  reason why many people or traders sell there coins at loss.  I have been trading since 2009 and one major enemy of traders is selling too early because of the FUD created by market's manipulators. I have seen people sell their coins today because a coin is reducing in pricing and see the same coin get pump the follow day. Many traders are treating trading as a gambling and not as it has been from the beginning concerned buying and selling. If you buy an Item low you are supposed to sell it high and not the other way. You have to follow this simple principle to make it in trading.

Hodling is the common suggestion and the common action been doing incase if theres a sudden dip on the price but not all the case that hodling is the best action you would made since there are instances on where cutting loses is effective specially if a certain coin would tend to dump hard and wont ever to pump again.If you did hodl no matter what then you are already hodling shit or dead coin.

If you own some Bitcoins or any altcoins and you believe in it, don't panic sell on the drop. Just ride out the drop or even buy more in the drop. The only time it's good to sell if you are selling for profit and the price is high. Don't sell when the price drops unless it's still a high price and you want to buy at a lower price.

Most of these top coins will recover and go to new highs eventually. A few will probably not survive so you should diversify. I choose to hold 3 or 4 different coins at a time.

It's funny how a lot people here mention how important patience and holding is, but yet fail to do it themselves. Only a very small number of people manage to firmly hold on to their coins for long to semi long periods of time -- the majority of the people either sell too early, or they sell with a hefty loss. People can't deal with increasing/decreasing markets for some reason, that's perfectly clear to me. I however have to point out that this more or less also applies to how things go with stock markets, so it's definitely not solely related to crypto.

Holding and patience are the two things which are directly related to one another. Till the time you don’t have this quality of controlling your nerves, there is no way that you can go for holding of bitcoins. Holding is no doubt very much profitable thing and is indeed a risk free investment in which there are likely chances of earning good profit. So remain patient and enjoy the profit.
