As a  traders, if you buy something and you believed that the token will be increase and has a potentials to to go up for a real, well I guess you need to buy that coin then hold in a long term then while doing it you need to be patience as well until it reach the day were the price value is really expensive.

I think patience really matters in any kind of investment. especially in the case of bitcoin specifically

we need to learn patience in crypto currency especially in bitcoin because bitcoin is a coins which is always changing from time to time and if we don't learn then we can get heart attacted when we know the price is falling too deep. when one bad news is come, we should search for another news and clarify that it is just another bad news that wants to make us to get panic and selling our bitcoin. but if we can know and we can divide the news and we can take the point of the news, then we should not be panic. although it is hard to prevent to get panic but i am sure that if we are trying over and over, we can handle this feeling and we can be calm when something is happen.

I won't say that is a bad choice. You need to remember that profit is profit so you need to forget that. You can still buy btc if another dip happens. The good thing is you know that you need to work on being patient because it's always the key to a successful trade.

Yes its true patience is what a one trader really needs because earning at bitcoin isn't that instant that once you've entered in this kind of investments or trading the return of your investments will instantly be paid. In trading btc you must have a patience when your going to sell your coin,  a patience in doing or working out your account and a patience on Deciding when your gonna sell because of the inconsistency of the price of the coin in the exchange market.

If you aspire to be a good trader, that's an attribute that you should have. Many traders lose money due to lack of patience. If you know that you don't have any money that you can risk, don't trade. Instead of earning, you may end up losing due to wrong decisions. It's better to hold for a long time than sell at a loss so its important that the money you have there is something you can spare

Holding is better but in many cases, I have even seen some people regretting their holds for too long.
You should really know when to stop hodling, because there were many coins that were bought very expensive (that follows the rule that when someone wins, someone has to lose and the same applies in trading) like DGB, BTS (I am still in favor of this), XEM, AMP that are almost 10-20 times less their peak prices. It's good to hodl, but it's smart to get yourself out of the coin at the right time. It's better to sell between and cut your losses that may occur in "future" when the coins you hold get dumped even more and you regret over your decision.

Patience is vital in this kind of business, just like trading in fiat currency wherr you buy low and sell high. Need not to worry about what you have done in the past, whats important is you learned the aspects of trading alts to bitcoin.

It's really important in trading and in just about everything in life that you let the past go. Make your mistakes, learn from them, but then forget about them and focus on the next decision. If you continue to regret past mistakes you will always struggle to make correct decisions in the future for fear of making a mistake again.

It is all about learning from our mistakes and not letting it take the best of us but rather make the best out of us. I think earlier years its really good to hold on your bitcoin because the price is not the spiking. But year-to-year, bitcoin has spike like 500% that's why its really hard to hold. Sometimes you need to cash out and take profit. Otherwise you won't realized your full profit and the real potential of your money.

I don't think you need to cut your losses if you are a hodler for a long time. But yeah, selling from time to time will also reignite the ecosystem and your coins in the circulation again and others will have the opportunity to get it some coins.

Patience is the first lesson in business I used to be. I put all the money I had in bitcoin then the bit price is quite high and suddenly I saw its price has dropped 30% over the price. I bought I looked at my money is disappearing so I sold the hole but after I sold everything back to the original. The lesson is that when you believe in something in the business follow it to the end but with it use the knowledge that you learn to apply it to your belief higher.

You are right, crypto got a lot of FUD and we deal it everyday if we don't have enough patience and trust with crypto then we can't be successful here, it would be better to invest our hard earned money to something else.

Ugh. I've lost so much potential profit by not being patient and not believing in bitcoin--but I don't dwell on it, since none of us knows what the future holds.   And that's the main reason why I don't trade altcoins.  The market volatility is insane, and I don't have the stomach to be patient in a market where you could potentially lose literally everything in an instant.

Once I get my debt settled, I'll be buying some bitcoin to hold on to.  But no altcoins for me.

It is quite normal for people to be hesitant on something that they do not know well. You may be doing right but I think otherwise, if I were at your place, I would have never opted for selling my bitcoins no matter what the circumstances were. There is no way that you can earn more profit if you plan to sell your bitcoins at the time when the prices are falling down. Patience is the key if you want to earn good amount of profit in the world of bitcoin. You need to learn this thing to avoid any further loss.
