i have a nvidia rig ... is this coin algorithm a nvidia preferable or amd ... and if so what is the best setting to run at

Pretty good on both brands right now , until someone pushes the edge for amd / nvidia miners.

P.S. Contacted the whattomine.com operator ? This can bring additional exposure.

Yessir! Should come soon.
Will announce it, of course.

AMD might have an advantage in the future if wolf0 continues to work on his optimizations.
He already announced a faster Echo-512 implementation IIRC.

I will never send private messages with payment requests for my auctions. I only communicate transparently via the forum (not Telegram, Discord, Skype & others). Please be wary of scammers.

Will ccminer have any further optimisations? Thanks for all these updates and work on the project btw, much appreciated. Glad to be a small part of it via community group and mining.

Thanks for sticking around, a coin is nothing without its community.

For ccminer I think it is possible to gain another 10-12% (maybe).
I have limited knowledge in the field compared to pallas/tpruvot/alexis so rewriting existing implementations is a no-go for me. I'll see what I can do but I don't want to promise anything. Smiley

Today I have very badly fallen prey to yiimp.eu. Is this just a problem?

YiiMP was under heavy DDoS today, other pools as well.

Client auto-update issue, it will be gone once new version will be available.
It has nothing to do with sync, please look a few pages back for a complete sync tutorial.

Where can I rent a rig for mining Luxcoin?

It depends: if you want to rent a mining rig online you could go to nicehash.com. I think they are solid.

As it is a new algo , there aren't any rig rentals as of now.

Maybe you can strike a deal with someone on the forum or simply buy some from the exchange.

PHI1612 isn't on their supported list tho , nor on miningrigrentals so I dont think it will work ;p
