Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?
1. Twitter 2. Reddit 3. This forum 4. Telegram 5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
I just noticed that there is something missing in the social media you tackled, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, these are I think are helpful anyway but the best of them was Facebook and Twitter. Where most of the time this was their source of update about the project they are promoting it.

All the venue will be helpful promoting ico, but most prefer to use facebook and twitter as they got too much attractions when they shared their project, also this two social media really have a huge numbers of users everyday so target can be hit when people seen advertisement running around them, it's always better to understand your target business so you will able to advertise it in the proper place.

How about youtube?
or youtube is only good for HYIP scams?
I also want to ask why youtube is not here. Some people say something. Hundreds of thousands of people can know it. This influence is also very powerful.

Twitter is more influential for now. telegram is still new and from the first to campaign is aimed at twitter. I'm still convinced that twitter is the best way to get ico in touch

Where most of the time this was their source of update about the project they are promoting it. You have missed another one for posting big articles like Medium, I don't think only twitter and facebook are specific because we have to concentrate on all social media which has crypto community involving. Promoting an ICO project is also good to attend the conference conducted by officials.

Yes! The social media like Facebook, Twitter etc are places to promote an ICO but the first step to be taken by an ICO organizers is to place information about the upcoming release of tokens on special calendar sites. There are many resources where you may publish a schedule of planned ICO, and you can search for them. Also, if you use a popular blockchain technology (such as Ethereum) for ICO, you should google the calendars that mark the projects that are run on it. Here’s just a short list of these kinds of ICO calendars: Coinschedule.com CoinGecko.com Cyber Fund ICOCrowd.com ICOCountdown.com ICO-List.com Tokenmarket.net The step second step in ICO promotion should be the publication of announcements and links in social networks and communities.these includes: 1.Specialized Forums. The most famous is Bitcointalk, where practically all the ICO projects are run. 2. LinkedIn professional groups: there are a lot of groups, for any taste, with thousands of players, and here are just a few: one, two, three, four, five. 3.Facebook groups: issues of ICO, cryptocurrencies and blockchains are also discussed on Facebook, (for eg. ICO, Funding, Angels, Seeds, Investors, Startups) The final step in promoting your ICO is through -Native Advertising, General Topic Media, and Blogs.

I think best place for promotion will be like bitcointalk forum, reddit or other forums related to cryptocurrencies. Facebook is a vast space where lots of people do not even know what is cryptocurrency, so focusing on it too much doesn't seem to be worth it.

I think that an ico founders should not neglect any social media. The thing is that they must do a lot of thinking about how to divide the planned budget wisely between the sm resources.

for me i still think no social media promotion can be as good as Twitter from the list provided because millions of people visit twitter daily. slack, telegram and reddit cannot compete with twitter in term of traffic

Social media has a great influence on world history. So far the number 1 social media is facebook with 1.3 billion active users and 87% is of legal age.
Second, Linkedin with 500 million members in 200 countries and territories and is said to be the world's largest professional network.
Third is twitter with 330 million users at legal age. Facebook is no.1 because many people around the world trust, even when children are happy and enjoy the features of facebook because you can put your own video or express different emotions.
I found the bitcointalk forum in Linkedin because of its news. And I think facebook is the best social media to promote the ICO.

It seems to me that Facebook and Reddit are quite good social services where you can promote the cryptocurrency. Facebook is very large, and Reddit I just like the original interface and unique features.

I think that the key to success is the use of many social media. Each country has different most popular social medias, so it is impossible to choose the universal one.
