I agree. Twitter is definitely in the lead. And I doubt the position of redit. In any case, the gap from Twitter is very large in terms of audience reach.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Other than Bitcointalk, Steemit is the best platform. Facebook and Twitter campaigns are basically waste of resources. But in Steemit you can actually read worthwhile articles about projects. ICO's should raise blog rates in their bounty campaigns.

The most reliable ICO-trecker for me is icodrops.com.
And I think it is the best for promoting any ICO-project.

Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?

1. Twitter
2. Reddit
3. This forum
4. Telegram
5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
Social media is a big help in promoting ICO,in my own opinion you can just simply promote in this forum there's a lot of  people who can see or read on this. You can also add Facebook ,one of the most popular media site where people always open it daily.

I think it should be on twitter because all crypto people have their accounts in twitter. Many can see it and will encourage to participate in the said coin.

Bitcointalk, Twitter, Telegram, Facebook are the best place to promote an ICO, among all the four the most popular platform to talk about crpytocurrency is Bitcointalk forum. It is the right place because only cryptocurrency discussion are held in this forum. Bitcointalk is the great place to learn about cryptocurrency and to promote ICO.

I do not think that large investors will learn about projects via Twitter or Facebook.
It all varies to which country. Not all countries have the same number 1 used social media by it's people. For example, people in China uses QQ in social media, and in Philippines, Facebook and Twitter are really popular. Therefore, the best social media to use for bitcoin advertisement varies from country to country.

In my own opinion i think the best social media in promoting ICO are the following ,

Facebook , because most people now have an account in facebook and most of them are businessman , entrepreneur , and investors.

Twitter , because twitter is the so called social media site of celebrities , and most celebrities also are into cryptocurrency , they also investing in cryptocurrency to make more profits.

Youtube , this social media sites is one of the best to promote ICO because once a use make a video about the ICO , and when it was uploaded in youtube , there is a high possibility that an ICO can be a successful because people can watch it.

Telegram , most users in crypto are using telegram to discuss what is the best upcoming ICO and when is the right time to invest in it. And most cryptocurrency users using this social media as tool to promote ICO by adding groups to it.

I'm afraid you have missed the best social media to use which is Facebook. Facebook because you can easily interact with people, share thoughts with them directly through pm or sharing it on your wall. Next would be this forum because people who have already experiences and has the potential to be investors are mostly in this forum.

Twitter is the best from what I've seen. Facebook is very good too and you don't have that on your list at all. Steem and Medium and great for content sharing...

Slack is not good to promote an ico project because you know that its fully scammers.
Why dont you add facebook in your list?

If you are a blockchain fan, I believe you should spend more time on bitcointalk.org and reddit.
But if you want to promote cryptocurrencies to more people, may tweeter and facebook will be better.
Telegram and slack, I dont think they are good way.

Why you haven't add facebook to the list ? You think is not worth as social media to spread bitcoin info ?

I think because facebook is infested with a lot of annoying advertisement and scam plus not to mention people who will not take it seriously since its a platform that is usually used not for information and news unlike twitter which is dedicated to pass specific statements which easily caught attention of possible investors.
