First of all the best social media for promoting an ICO is Facebook. Because facebook is the biggest social media i think. And secondly Twitter will be the best. Facebook and Twitter is more popular in the world so in that case this two social media will be the best option. If you want to promote an ICO then my suggestion is use this social media.Hopefully you will get your success through this two.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

for me i still think no social media promotion can be as good as Twitter from the list provided because millions of people visit twitter daily. slack, telegram and reddit cannot compete with twitter in term of traffic

I think it really depends if you're looking to tap into existing crypto enthusiasts (this forum) or chase new money from those entering the crypto arena.  For the latter, I'd say Twitter, if only for the ease with which a Tweet can spread quickly via RT.

I thought it was FB...but they decided to reject all promotional ...Welll. I think  that the best way is to get a Telegream group which will be developing and growing ..Telegram is the best social media which has a strong protection system..For example, one of my acquaintance from moderntoken was responsible for telegram of one ico..in fact, pr in telegram played a high role in pre-sale

For me, bitcointalk.org is still the best for promoting an ico. Because this is what i use since the first time i joined here. And maybe you can try also facebook, and twitter. It always use by people this days.

With most of these social media platfrom banninf ICO ads and prmotion,  think for now it should be Youtube, because you are providing contents and not ads and will be difficult to censor such, telegram too is a good platfrom but the groups are ebing taking over by some bots post, not really familair with Discord but someone told is good platform too

It depends on who you want to reach?

We just launched and are looking to raise money pre-ICO so we are looking for accredited investors. Because of that we are using twitter and linkedin for social media and monitoring boards such as this and reddit. We expect to hold our ICO late this summer and will open to any investor to buy our tokens and that will likely have a different social outreach.

Anyone interested in checking us out can at cryptobridgenetwork.com   Smiley

Yes, FB and Instagram promissed to ban any kind of ICO and cryptocurrency advertizing. There're rumors that Google is also going to ban all ICO ads. So these are really bad news for all of us, both for bounty hunters and for ICOs.

For promoting ICO the best platform in my opinion is Bitcoin forum, though this is not under social media.

Social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Telegram are the best and widely used by crypto investors worldwide for promoting and getting information about ICO, whether it’s old or a new one.

Maybe not considered as a social media but don't forget how powerful Google Adsense was. Just hope they won't follow Facebook's footsteps towards ban of ICO's ads though.

I think social media is one of the best ways to promote ICO because today almost everyone is using social media. I think social media can make an ICO a success

I would say, bitcointalk, twitter and facebook. Facebook is a great for easy to learn more about coins.bitcointalk and Twitter are better for those who are already invested and want to join a community.

Each of them has their own pros and cons, of course.

But IMO FB is best for just reaching the most amount of people possible.
Twitter for general updates.
Telegram/Reddit for community interaction and so on.

You can add to this list your own separate forum about the project and also some blogs. It seems to me that you do not need to spread out on all these social networks bcz it will be enough to focus on the basic ones.
