Infinitecoin never has been infinite with the regard to the number of coins.  The coin cap is aproximately 90.6 billion coins.

Infinitecoin=Infinite possibilities. Smiley

TECSHARE killed Infinitecoin.

The end.

TECSHARE isn't selling block erupters to actually mine Infitecoin with.  Just normal SHA-256 erupters for mining Bitcoin and other SHA-256 coins..."erupters for IFC" just means he's selling the SHA-256 erupters in exchange for IFC.

I hope you miners are ready to support this coin at the halving.
Fisheater... not sure why you scrapped transaction fee hikes... but I think you should reimplement that plan.

please tell me if i'm wrong..

actually on the block chain explorer, we are at block #236619
halvings occur every 86400 blocks
this will be the 3rd one
86400 * 3 = 259200
so.... in 22581 blocks
taking one block every 30s, this makes us 22581 * 30 = 677430s
677430 / 60 = 11290,5 mn = 188,175 h = 7.84 days

according to what I think are correct maths, we are a more than 7 days away from halving !
i mean, it's more than a week.
people put your rigs on again, there a still plenty to do during a short period Cheesy

While it hasn't been as bad lately, the parasite coin hoppers have slowed IFC's blocks minted per day average. We are no where near 1 in 30s. lmao

Infinitecoin coin was set to half its block value yesterday, in fact the website had a countdown timer on it which indicated Sept 4th. Now it states 7 days to go? What gives? Seems a little strange, supposedly cryptocurrency cant be manipulated, looks like it can. If it has been tinkered with then its credibility and thus value is in serious question.

well i think that network hashing power changed quickly and heavily. as it is not enormous. any serious miner makes a big difference here.
i think that difficulty retargets don't occur often enough. what happenned here is that there was a high difficulty for a low hashing rate. since difficulty retargets occur every X blocks, the network "got late".
this is normal to have blocks with a 3x slower rate if we need 90s with current hashing power to get a block.

i hope the retarget happens fast so everything comes back to normal Smiley

Well I'm tired of it and done mining IFC for now. I recommend that people mine coins that are able to stay under their radar, such as DMD and COL. They retarget the diff on every block and have PoS to boot.

If fisheater doesn't do something about the difficulty adjustments NOW, this coin will DIE. The fact that he's allowed things to go on this long, implies there is a conflict of interest here.

@ fisheater The network was at only 15 mhashs yesterday. WTG !

Guys, diff retargets every 120 blocks or 1hr approximately. It is reasonable, I don't think it is a good idea to make a hard fork because of that. In case of abrupt change of the network hashrate, it is expected that there will be some lag in response to it. Which occurs for every coins. Each diff adjustment is limited by a factor of 4 on either side, which should be enough for adjusting the diff related to hashrate.

BTW, on coinchoose now IFC is the most profitable coin with diff at 0.83.
