Has anyone taken a course online on sites like Udemy to learn about bitcoin? I just received a coupon to enroll in a bitcoin course for free. Would it be worth the time?

Yes definitely even in short courses only just to enlighten and gain more knowledge about bitcoin so that people has awareness on how it would started, what is the purpose of it, the value in the market and how it use to be.

For me you do not need to take any courses and spend some money for it because it was easy to learn about bitcoin just search and read i think you can catch up the idea of bitcoin. Also you are here in the forum and almost all the information you need is here and all of that is free.

As long as it is free and worth to learn and study go and grab the opportunity to learn as knowledge to bitcoin can bring success to your life just make it sure it is not scam and illegal recruitment and baiting the Free term just to attract people's attention to enroll, search some reviews about udemy. I saw some negative and positive comments about them, explore more online courses for bitcoin for your good different choices there's a lot of them over the web Good luck with your learning.

If its free then take it, if not dont waste your time. There are so many articles in blog and and videos in youtube on how to start in bitcoin. The only thing that hard to understand is some terms in mining and those blockchain network. For sure if you enroll to them they will teach you about that and for you to understand whats going on in bitcoin. |

If you plan to put your all attention into bitcoin business and you take it very seriously how to earn more ... study to become more knowlegable and deeper into these industry would really big help. But if you want only treat it us a hobby or second priority of your source of income ,I think going to schooll and spending time to it is not quiet idealistic. You can use available resources to be able to learn how bitcoin business work. Do alot of reading is enough for you to be more knowlegable.well if you want to go in school its up to you.

I never heard an online course in learning bitcoin this is the first time thanks for the information. But i think there is no need to take a course all we need to do is read and read and read because online courses would definitely have a payment cost that cost we can use it already in trading si better yet let us use our common sense in studying the concept of bitcoin and for sure all of us will gain more knowledge just be patient. |

Assuming that you're here since 2016 and this is your account, you should already know about bitcoin what most courses will give you (or more) and If this is not going to be a waste of money, it will be a waste of time but If you insist, I'd recommend Coursera because usually, they provide more advanced materials: https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency |

I think it would not be necessary to take an onlinw course just to learn bitcoin. Most of us here does not partake into learning bitcoin online or any tutorial. We learned about it through experience and self learning. But, since you said that you already have a token then grabbed it. That would be special. |

It's free though, so just take it if you have much free time. I never had a course like that to learn bitcoin, i learn bitcoin by myself till now. Well if i were you and have much free time, i will take it since its free, maybe i can get a new information about bitcoin that i don't know. Who knows, just try it. |

Yes, if the course is free you may consider to attend it. Anyway there's no real need to pay for attending courses. You can find any info on the Internet for free, here on bitcointalk, reddit, youtube, etc. |

There are a lot of free courses and videos from youtube that people share their knowledge on bitcoin. It is not really necessary to join courses that charge unless they are really good.

If you received it for free it's fine you can check it out it doesn't cost you anything and you might learn something new from it. Paying for any such course is highly not recommended bitcoin is really famous now everything is available online you just need to learn from the right source

That's great and much greater since it is free. When I am still a beginner, I had struggled a lot learning things about Bitcoin and encountered a lot of technical terms which confused me a lot. Anyway, you should try it since you will not lose anything.

I thougt we don't need a course about bitcoin to become success investor in it. All we need is start to invest immediatly, and along with the time, you will slowly understand about it, And which strategy are good to used for it. Learning by experience was better than other learning, because you do it by yourself, and you will remember how it works forever.
