I think it's really a good idea to save up bitcoin for our children. For now, we still have the energy to provide for everything our family needs. Any amount that you can save now would be a great value tomorrow. It would be awesome to have millions someday when we are old already. By the time we can no longer manage our bitcoins, we can then transfer ownership to the ones we love.

In my opinion, I think paper money still better to invest for your children than btc. For a child, btc is pretty complicated and hard to understand so paper money is the better option. Just my opinion.

Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

That would be nice because you are saving for your children but I am still a teenager so I have a lot of plabs but having a children is not one of them yet but when that day comes I will definitely save all mu bitcoins for them because I want them to be weathy I do not want them to suffer the poverty that I've experienced because bitcoins is just the only thing that keeps me financially stable for now because i am just a student but when that time comes and bitcoins are still the successful I will gave all of my bitcoins to them because they are my child.
I think you should ask from your dad may be he is saving bitcoin for you, but if he is interested i bitcoin. I have three children and i will surely like to save bitcoin for them, as bitcoin has a bright future and in future we are expecting to use bitcoin instead of fiat currency, which have the same value throughout the world.

I did the same, I put some amount every week, and I been doing it for two months now, I was surprised by the amount I have invested, doing nothing, yet its growing. Only me and my wife knows about it and I am sure it cannot be stolen for it has to send an authentication code to my email and mobile number.

It can't be stolen, not yet. But in 20 years, wouldn't we have even more powerful computers to crack SHA256 keys easily?

I think, having a smart contract based on blockchain that delivers these private keys to your kids based on criteria defined (when they reach certain age, when certain event happens) would be best way to pass on the investment. Would be much better option than writing down on paper and possibly having it lost.

https://www.commbank.com.au/guidance/newsroom/CBA-and-QTC-create-first-government-bond-using-blockchain-201701.html

There are lot of banks and even some governments are investing in blockchain based asset management. Sooner or later we will have some bank or govt. giving us digital safety box, where you can store these private keys and have it pass onto your kids.

Yes, but they need not explain complete details about the Bitcoin such as login information. Just we have to hint them we are storing Bitcoin for your future in this way they will understand and where they are storing. If we give complete details it will effect on their education.

Saving bitcoin for our children is a very good innovative as bitcoin is one of the world popularised monetary system. Bitcoin shows a trend of increasing continously so there is no problen of relaps or loss. It will also ensure that we introduce the future generation out children to the online monetary system. Bitcoin can be indefinitely saved without the worry of theft or cyberhack so I think saving up in the form of bitcoin is the best way to ensure our children's well being.

You can write down the seed words to the wallet that holds the coins and send them to separate lawyers/deposit boxes or to some other supports you think are suitable.

Yes, it's nice to save Bitcoin for your children so that they will have a better life. You should always secure your all wallets and passwords so that they can get the money you earn for them. But, It's best to change it to real money and put it in a bank because they are many hackers here.

The idea for saving bitcoins for your children is the best choice. Very few parents only think about the future as they don't have vision not only that not having opportunity. Why I am confidently saying that Bitcoin is best choice for investment that also for children you have enough time if anything goes wrong you can wait and also you are not going to panic and get benefit double triple depend upon the duration.
