yes, we heard that 16000 blocks premined until 25th october before fork, right?
this is because you want to be the longest chain . Do you plan to airdrop some of these premined coins to us for to build a stable community or just keep all of them to yourselves?
on the other hand, btc holders again one more time rich!

this not done yet, i see they don't take the final decision about premine, but till now i see there is no premine. they said they will remove premine, and then saying if there is premine, it will be lower than %1 premine. anyway release time will answer all these questions.

There will be a small premine <1% the developers are currently working hard for free and im following the progress and looking over the modified code on github eventually these developers will want paying for all the work that has been done and that is where the premined coins will go. For those of you complaining about a small premine which would you rather have the project being self financed and able to serve the community as best as possible or corporate funding that may want to dictate on the direction of the project

I think you are overestimating the amount of work that the Bitcoin Gold developers are putting in. Take a look at their Github and you will see that they haven´t actually done much work in the last weeks at all: https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPUThe whole premine makes this whole project look rather shady. I expect extremely low price levels if they even get listed at any exchanges at all!

Hello, mates! I have little dilemma. I need your advice. We know about coming fork of bitcoin. And we remember BCH fork, when we couldn't deposit coins to exchanges. But we could trade BCH. So, we can hold BTC on the exchange or on the wallet. Second option is safe, but we can be in situation like with BCH fork. What do you advice?

I suggest to you to save bitcoin on wallet that have private keys to avoid something wrong, because dev said that All Bitcoin holders who possess BTC private keys on October 25 (block 491 407) will receive Bitcoin Gold on the rate of 1 BTC = 1 BTG. You need to control BTC private keys in order to make Bitcoin Gold transactions.

I have been on constant contact with the devs to get the nodes working and bugs worked out. I have spent a lot of time myself debugging and in github to help them make this work 100%. Trust me they are busting their asses right now to get it all working and I would say they are legit so far 100%.

Because it is based on "Equihash" we can mine it with the same available miners, like EWBF Zcash miner, right ? From what I see for now we need to get the BTC gold wallet, which is not available yet
