I have a withdrawal stuck with "pending review" status, although I did the receive the withdrawal approved email. Is anyone familiar with this? what could be the cause? it's a small amount and I do have 2fa enabled, it's the first time I experience this, I did search the thread and other guy had a similar problem related to a typo in his btc address apparently (not my case). Any help appreciated.

If I take out a short position of btc then look under the section "swaps used in a margin position" and I see that it expires on Mon 04 Mar 2015, is a new swap opened automatically on the day the position expires?

No, it will close your leveraged trade. You can take out a new position at any time though and close the existing one to keep extending it and or lowering your borrowing rate.

Is there a standard time limit when opening a new position or does it just choose the best rate available? In other words when opening a position is there a standard duration (or range for the time duration) before the expiration date?

it picks the best rate you can pre reserve swap in the swaps section at your terms (length amount and interest rate) and it will use what you reserved before just going after the best rate swap auto renews at the best available rate as needed it does NOT close your margin position. above poster is 100% wrong on that.

It has been my experience that camolist is correct and superbit is wrong. There may be situations in which you can control whether or not your leveraged position is automatically closed, but I've never seen that happen except for a margin call.

You can never know. But Bitfinex has been around for a long time.

Can't find stop loss option. Are there more advanced features for buying/selling than just buy/sell button?

Question about swap mechanics: Is it possible to take swaps that are offered at a low rate and simply re-lend them out at a higher rate?

No, you can only lend out your own funds and if you borrow some funds, you can only keep them or trade them. This was already suggested multiple times, but so far there was no followup.

Have a close look: "order type", default at "limit", is a pull-down menu :-) Ente

Can't process a withdrawal, fill out all bank info -> check "save as template" -> next and nothing. no email no 2fa text doesn't save bank info - $ is still in echange account.
Am I missing something?

Quick QuestionI just opened a test long position on margin (I bought 0.13 BTC with 0.05) Can I place a limit order with the 0.13 BTC that I just bought on margin? (I only see an option to "Close" or "Claim" my position) After playing around with the orders I am getting more confused lol, apparently I can place a sell order for 0.2 BTC when I only have 0.13 BTC in my balance. Is this the proper place to be putting orders? Why is it possible to place an order for .2 when I only have the .13 (which is on margin)?? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FNa9zYiz.png&t=663&c=NnLVn69_K5LCzA)

Since you put the amount as .2 you would not only close your long position but then enter a short position with the remaining .07 or .069 actually. If you just want to close the position you could either put a limit sell at $340 for the exact amount of your long. You can also click "close" at any time to close your position with a market order. You can also click "claim", in this instance, if you have made enough profit on your long you can claim the .13 BTC (profit=.13BTC or more), so you would get the bitcoin and not the cash equivalent like you would if clicked "close" or limit sold to close the long. Hope that helped.

I am so going down, when bitcoin went up from $233 to $257 last to last week I made quite some profit closing my long position and then I did a huge mistake to think that $255 was the highest and I expected it to go down from here was fool enough to put everything in it, opened short position on $250, since then I saw few ups and down and at one point it even went down to $242 but I didn't close the position, became greedy ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . And now here I am looking at over $500 loss on my short position although I am happy that bitcoin is rising (don't get me wrong fellas) but I know I ain't having any fun. So, the question is how long I can hold on to this short position because I still don't want to loose hope of bitcoin going down from here but my worry is what if Bitfinex decided to close my position because I hold them for long? is that possible, I didn't bought these swaps myself, I let system choose best offer for me, are they for 30 days or there is no limit ?
