So with all this raging debate - punctuated by tasty price spikes of volatility everytime a dev makes a new viral blog post <3 - what's going to happen if there is indeed a fork..? Will BitFinex suddenly rush to list two BTCUSD instruments - one based on Core/SegWit, the other on BitcoinClassic/GA+JG..?? I presume at first, the BTCUSD we've always traded since ~2012 is just gonna continue to reflect Bitcoin Core's price, not other versions - even in the event that other versions actually get 75-90%+ voting+adoption majority..? What are you talking about? I don't see two BTCUSD, one Core on Classic... Unless you are trolling...

What are you talking about? I don't see two BTCUSD, one Core on Classic... Unless you are trolling... He probably speaks about this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1342268It seems like technically a fork will happen with segwit. One chain with segwit nodes, only they know the segwit transactions and one chain with the old nodes, that don't understand segwit transactions. In general, i would not trust segwit transactions that i receive as an escrow or personally because what happens when segwit loses against the old nodes? Then these transactions are transactions in an abandoned fork. Maybe when segwit wins >50%, ok, but i think it's risky to believe that it really will win. On the other hand, when segwit wins and coins that are moved on segwit already were spent later on the normal chain then you still might lose coins. It's really no fun. The problem is that this soft fork is different than those from before. Check out the thread to find out more.

Probably blocks are too full, at least there was a fee attached - so probably it just needs some more time to be confirmed by miners.

So there's ip-range whitelist support, great!
I have a dynamic ip within range: a.b.c.e-a.b.f.g (witt defined constants abcdefg). But for some reason I get "Invalid list of ip addresses".
What is the correct syntax?
Also the errormessage appears inside the inputbox, scrambled with and on top of the specified range, and will translate to the "correct" place after some clicks on the page.
EDIT:oops got all my sentences mixed up during copypaste, fixed.

Running bitfinex.com trough securityheader.io gives it an F. However at least it seems that X-frame-options is implemented, so that would give at least an E as a score. However this is not very impressive.

Is anyone else having withdrawal problems (hmm, that sounds wrong lol)? Earlier today i did a successful withdrawal. After that, i tried to withdraw 4btc and the status was stuck on "processing" for 1 hour 40 minutes. I cancelled it, split it up in 2x 2btc withdrawals and those are also stuck in "processing" for 1 hour 20 minutes now.

Sounds a bit like the hotwallet runs dry. When I remember that mostly happened on exchanges when they got hacked and people could only withdraw the coins that others deposited in the meantime. Well, I might be paranoid with exchanges by now. Though it served me well in the past. there is no risk good enough to take it.

BFX stopped doing instant withdrawals. All withdrawals are slow now. And by slow I mean at least a few hours. Maybe if you have a locked address it's faster, but I haven't tried it.
