Does bitfinex work for anyone ? It says i have no btc when i try to buy or sell but I can clearly see I have it (and I know I have it).

Withdrawel did work couple of times this week...
Maybe they are in the wrong wallet?

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

Its probably not their fault. you would have to pay much higher fee for your transactions to get to block earlier.. the mempool is overflowing, and check the last block time.. : http://bitcointicker.co/networkstats/

Wow really wtf? 48 hours?

Good thing I haven't tried cashing out some money yet.

I hope they continue to let USA residents use unverified accounts. Cause technically I am also an overseas resident as well....

What the fuck is wrong with this exchange ?

It was under a major DDoS attack like many Bitcoin related sites yesterday, this always happens when the markets are making new ATHs. Bitfinex usually is one of the better exchanges at coping with it. Yesterday GDAX API was completely unavailable for 30 minutes.

They don't. All US residents were told to close their accounts.

Bitfinex, could you please take a look at ticket #695472, #848842, #654694, it has been 4 days now I don't see my money in my wallet. And I saw from the history that they reached the right address given by Bitfinex. Then disappeared. And no answer from you neither via email nor twitter.

Thank you, but the problem is Bitfinex did not transmit my withdrawal to the blockchain.

I´m waiting 60 hours now, no answer from Support, no nothing, completely annoying

Finally some news from Bitfinex.

Eery familiar. MtGox also was heavily backlogged by its own overwhelming success, months and weeks befor the largest fireworks in bitcoin history. Yet.

This is not a Bitfinex error, but rather a too restrictive Cloudflare setting.

I assume they had to accentuate their Cloudflare settings, because of the recent DDoS attacks on their website.

From their Twitter:

Bitfinex has been under significant denial-of-service attack for the past several days.
The attack has recently worsened. Please monitor https://bitfinex.statuspage.io/  for ongoing updates.

I would be more worried about them adding pretty sketchy altcoins in the last weeks. Altcoins like QASH or YOYO
should never be added on an exchange that wants to be taken seriously.

There is a reason why these coins are never added to Bitstamp, GDAX or Gemini.

All those exchanges have subjected themselves to regulators, which take months to approve additional trading pairs.
