I cannot access sites like bitfinex.com and cex.io, which are both my trading sites, I think their firewall is blocking my IP coz I regularly reloading them.

bitfinex is working for me.
It auto-updates (or you can switch wallet tabs), so there is no need to renew your browser all the time.

Trades seem VERY sluggish right now, hopefully they are executed faster in the background! Undecided

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

The same problems for me too.

Yep. Just wonderful timing as well. Anyone know of a reliable trading service similar to bitfinex?  Huh

The order book is unavailable because stamp is having problems. The "Order book" button on the upper right is working well, "Level 2 order book" (which includes stamp) doesn't load, same as the short order book at the bottom of the screen. Could be improved to fall back to showing only BFX's order book instead of nothing in a situation like this, but it's mostly Bitstamp's problem here.

Yep. As surely everyone noticed, even getting a simple price chart of bitstamp fails at bitcoinwisdom and bitcoincharts, more often than not.
Seems to me Bitfinex passed it's stresstest! :-)

I could slap myself for not putting up orders yesterday night. Went to bed an hour before it began.

I think we're all living in sort of a 'brave new world' ... this instrument trades based on service availability as much as it doesn't technicals and fundamentals.

Is anyone else having issues with limit buy orders? It tells me "you have entered the wrong price, please try again" or something like that.

I think there's some arbitrary stop that prevents you from setting a limit too high over the market price. I set a limit too high by mistake one time (reversed my price and size order fields) and it saved me.

I generally get the warning "You are setting the limit above blablabla... Are you sure? OK/Cancel" when setting limit orders above market (intentionally, when I want to be sure that the market depth is still there by the time the order executes). However, I've also seen the warning you mentioned a couple of times recently, but couldn't make any sense of it yet.

Yeah that's what I thought it was, but it must be functioning incorrectly because I wouldn't let me buy at $599, was happening earlier today too. The only way I can buy is with a market order.
