You lost a lot of good will these last week or two, bitfinex.

I will point out, non-gloatingly but matter of factly, (and I don't give a f$ck about the verbal abuse I'll get from Giancarlo) that in the past 2 months, Bitstamp tends to behave *a lot better* under pressure than Bitfinex.

I will agree. I am becoming less and less tolerant of these issues.

Guys been there done that in the last panic.

Get ready to get attacked by there dog on this forum. I saw what he did to some users so i did not complain.

Dont try to get some compensation or what ever, they talk as if this exchange is very professional but its really amateurishh

nothing armature about it, quite precise if you ask me

hehe precise for their money yeah not ours. No i mean last crash some guys where complaining about same kind of problems but their spokesman told them its your own fault that you cant trade.

Pathetic

yea i was being a little on the sarcastic side, BFX really should loose 99% of their custom from this demonstration , just unbelievable

Less tolerant? This should be the last straw. MT4 is the defacto CFD platform used in the forex world, via BTCe. Those Russians sure have their shit together unlike these Bitfinex jokers.

My longs at 150/250/350 have been cancelled. Everything from the 5000 BTC dump will be reversed apparently.

Here's your cause for all this:
https://www.mtgox.com/press_release_20140210.html

Why, today!
When exactly? A few seconds before that amazing red candle on all charts! :-)

WRONG. And that's interesting, isn't it? The amazing red candle started a full 10 minutes before the release was available on their website. That's when MtGox started rallying down and Bitstamp had that spike to 710 and we were all wondering why they were going in opposite directions. _Then_ came the release.

Now this is really interesting! Did you watch this on the charts yourself? I only noticed something was up when the red candle was already quite impressive. Sure enough, /r/bitcoin showed the answer by then.

I warned people of MtGox for some time now. As of today, I can say I hate them. For all their dick moves. For not just dieing quietly, but pulling all exchange rates with them too (as of today). All right, that's more the fault of the 'weak hands' than theirs I guess.

Bitfinex invents timetravel trading. If a trade doesn't work out, just go back in time and pretend it never happened.

Because the API link to bitstamp was gone so those prices were a glitch.
