Geez Louise,

No Worries,
Payment always comes,
One thing about "Giancarlo",
Is that he is no "Liar".

P.S.: From Experience, the Express Option is "Worth It", for Important Matters.

Worth It??

That guys' amount is 107600, express withdrawal=107600 x 1%=1076 USD.

Everybody seems easily forgot that we had the same express withdrawal service for free no more than one month ago before they charge us for this extra 1% "express" withdrawal and delay our "normal" withdrawal up to 3 or more days.

Certainly that is not "worth it", that is you couldn't but use "express" withdrawal to meet your urgent need.

You are absolutely right,
I agree wholeheartedly,

Did not do the "Math",
Mention the same thing myself a few posts back,
About what use to be FREE
Thanks for reminding me.

P.S.: But Hey, Giancarlo and the BitFinex Team "Got To Eat" also.

Don't you think they Ate too much of / from our money ?

Seriously, I don't really care that much about the fees they charge us, I care more about the Customer Service they provide and the Trust they make us feel if that both really "Worth it”.

Edit: Btw, I thought they should seriously consider hiring you as Customer Service here .
Since you seems always respond instantly . Grin

Who could offer me some bonus if I would use his Bitfinex code?  I want to signup to Bitfinex, but don`t know which code to use as they all offer the same 10%,  so I would use one which offers some additional stuff.

For example:   I would use YOUR code if you could send me some mBTC or some other coins for using it.
I`m going to use Bitfinex BIG TIME so the guy who`s code I will choose, will benefit A LOT.

I'll give you back half of what I earn from you.

Hi
Is it possible larger withdraw paid slower? This is the first time my withdraw over 100k and it exceed 3 working days. My previous smaller withdraw are all within 3 working days. If it is possible, may be I will split my payment next time.

No, it's not due to that.
It's just that in this moment every chinese and his brother is trying to arb between local (CNY) and international (USD) platform.
We have a daily quota of usd that we can send out and there might be a couple of days of delay in moments like this.

We apologize for the inconvenient but it's not due to us, it's the daily withdrawal limit with HK banks (10 mio HK$).

Thank you for your comprehension and have a good day

Giancarlo
Bitfinex Team

I think it is fair to say we have to find a solution to work around this.  10 million HK$ = 1.2 US$, it would take weeks if everyone were to withdraw.

We are already working on it.
In the next weeks we'll have 3 new banks (currently going thru their AML/KYC).

Have a good day

Giancarlo
Bitfinex Team

Given the mt gox fiasco, plus latest China situation, people are understandably sensitive to fiat withdrawal delay.  Please kindly remember update us as the situation improves.

Thanks.

Now withdraw is 5 working days. Can you add cancel function to it? Now you don't pay very quickly. People may need to use their funds when pending.

About my case. my withdraw reach my account the fifth working days. Now same as bitstamp. No advantage.

Key word there is "Trust",
which is, in one word, "Priceless",
and for whatever flaws BitFinex
might have, fortunately for all of us,
"Trust" is not one of them, Grin !

Would love the opportunity to serve
you guys, in the end we are all "Coiners",

Question to Bitfinex team:
Have you considered using Ripple network as one of the ways to process deposit/withdrawals and to transfer funds between system users, by system users? If not, what are the drawbacks here in your opinion?
Bitstamp for instance uses Ripple and in fact, Bitstamp actually is using it instead of the "code", which they used to do. Of note, BTC-e is still using codes. Bitfinex doesn't use any.

https://community.bitfinex.com/ is unreachable atm. but in essence: Yes they are aware of it, have some ideas - but no eta or anything beyond that.

I also would love to see Bitfinex being a Ripple gateway, they likely have other problems at the moment though (e.g. bank withdrawals being limited, still only connected to one single other exchange...) and I guess they just have put this on the back burner for some more. Ripple Labs makes it easier and easier to set up gateways too by building deployable open source gateway solutions, so I guess over time it might just be that Bitfinex takes another look and they find out that it only takes a weekend or so and then integrate.

It would be great though to have it earlier as I said, I give it only ~30% probability though.

I`m going to use Bitfinex BIG TIME so the guy who`s code I will choose, will benefit A LOT.

Define "big time"... from the stats I have so far, a bit less than 5% of my referred ones make up about 90% of all referral income. You can have 1 mBTC if you like once I see you actually start using the account (most people who sign up don't seem to do anything with it) and you gather 1 USD for me (=10 USD fees paid).

Beyond that... sorry, but you are already getting a 10% discount for a month and I luckily still make much more on actually using the platform instead of refspamming (my signature is the only place where this code is displayed). I'm not going to start luring people in by offering special boni, since from what I see they would likely not be worth the effort.

There are many kids out there who prefer to play with childish altcoin pump and dumps, so they are spending their time on Cryptsy and Mintpal. But I already got tired of all those childish toy ShitScamAltCoins, and I think there`s nothing in this cryptoworld more predictable than BTC price movements.
So I`m going to move all my BTC to Bitfinex and trade just BTC from now on. No more trading shitcoins for me, better invest my time and energy into whats easiest to predict, and what is actually a real thing, not some toy coins with low volumes.  I believe BTC price movements will not stop at least until the end of this year (and possibly much longer) so my trading with all my BTC on Bitfinex should continue for long LONG time I believe.

I believe Bitfinex gives the best shorting possibilities from all exchanges?  If thats the case than why move from there?
Thats what I mean "big time".

all my BTC
[...]
Thats what I mean "big time".
That can be 0.1 BTC or a few hundred. Seeing that your account was created in the December 2013 bubble I guess you're closer to the former number...
Anyways, feel free to choose, you already got some offers after all.

A last reminder: BTC you have on any exchange are not yours: They belong to the exchange and (hopefully) you can redeem them later. If you only trade with e.g. 10 BTC usually, withdraw the remaining ones to a secure location, like a paper wallet. Trading with all what you have all the time might be a stupid bold strategy by the way. Wink

I have a loan that I have been watching to expire, it went from "about an hour" then counted down the minutes to 10 minutes left, and now is starting to count back up.  It's all the way back up to 25 minutes and has been counting up 1 minute at a time?

This is a known issue with inaccurate timestamps. Just wait for up to 2 hours, never saw a timestamp off more than that.

Happened to me too some time ago, I think there is a periodic task that clears this stuff every hour or so - it starts counting upwards after reaching 0 min. left until it is finally freed.

Cool thanks guys. It came back now.  It is true that all the conversation on these forums is by the lenders, who is borrowing all this money?

Or is it a trade secret by the borrowers when to borrow so they don't want to discuss strategy and cause borrowing rates to increase.

I bet many people do both. Also many people that trade there are not active on this site. And many unsuccessful traders won't be in the mood to help  Grin
