What kind of information is needed to participate? Is the KYC easy to pass?

5 million, it's was raised in private pre-sale. Currently raised: $9275709 KEY tokens sold, it's almost 4x more than soft cap - project will be successful!

Yes, I mean with the privat pre-sale. The current state is of course much higher Smiley And it speaks for itself. I actually thing this could become really big if the system will work out, as it would make every ICO investor now and in future to potential customers.

I dont know about singapore specifically, but that is what governments usually try to achieve, yes.

And it's also true, that KYC is a tool for the government to keep better track of profits made in cryptos.

In general they also want to know with who they are dealing with and make sure you are a real person, in order to avoid money laundering as well

I imagine that is a way to contrl how much is spent so they eventually will generate a tax on it, they need to get an idea for that, if not they won't be able to properly regulate it.

Just finished Reading the whitepaper. Found it interesting from a technical view and it gives insight into both traditionall kyc process as well as what selfkey offers. If you have some time to spare I definately recommend to give this one a read (English) https://selfkey.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/19/2017/11/selfkey-whitepaper-en.pdf

Yeah,  amazing  wp.

I just went to check the counter on the website and more than $10 million is already raised! That is almost never happening these days, such a success, and it's just a presale.

10m USD?!?! That's sick!

They have a pre-sale cap which is 15.840.000$, with this speed it will probably reach it before it ends on 24th of December. It is now $10.537.422$

Yes the pre sale has already a big success, I really like the concept of the project, for me there is a big use case for selfkey. With big partnership the project will skyrocket for sure.
Someone should occupy this industry and this can become SELFKEY.
This market segment is still young. Such projects are easy to fit and well developed. And results pre-sales prove it!

Selfkey will increase the efficiency and serenity of all those which have to do regular administrative processes; whether for their residence permits, their marriages, for their children, for studies, for their business ect .. Sometimes the administration asks us to return documents that we already have sent before for different requests. Here all the things that you have sent once you don't need to send it back, but especially you remain master of your personal informations. They are yours and remain it and are incorructible.

Indeed, already collected more than 10.5 million dollars. Even somehow unexpected. Although we must take into account that now the cost of ETH is more than $ 700.

KYC applied in crypto is at the moment an initiative at self regulation in order to avoid governments crackdown on operations.

Thanks for all your help.
I asked this question for my friend who is a Singapore citizen.
He just wanna make sure that participating this ICO won't involve any tax issue.

No, precisely USA and China can't participate, also New Zealand is not eligible. I think because of regulators.

No, as it is said in the ANN, unfortunately U.S. and Chinese citizens aren't eligible to participate in the crowdsale as well as, don't know why, New Zealand residents.

They dont have limit tokens mount for pre-sale? It can be finished on pre-sale?

I think that's wrong. Then it's most likely whales that got everything and there's a crooked distribution.

But it is possible. ICON was sold out on presale #1 of the planned 3 presales.

If they are whales, they will sell after the ICO and lower the price of the tokens, since the bonus is now 30%. As it happens in most cases, when large bonuses are given for sale.

Not necessarily just whales and even if they are, they might not sell right after the ICO ends. SelfKey is a good project, one of rare, so I would say it's worth holding. And 30% bonus is not an extremely high one, there many icos out there with much higher, insane bonuses.

thanks!

whales don't tend to sell out after ICO. only bounty hunters do. I'm not worried about wales.
