A country called Mauritius? or is it just a region in a country?
Do they have many regulation there?

Pre-ICO is sold out, great work team!

Four days before the scheduled end, that's totally awesome. I hope the public sale will be as successful. I just wish it would start right now, so we don't have to wait till January 15 to invest.

Haha, me too. But then again, it is fair that there's a time interval between presale and public sale, so the early investors really deserve their bonus, since they take (even just a bit) more risk

that's true, early adopters should be rewarded. they take the highest risk when going in capital ventures.

Exactly, but nowadays you see presales immediately follwed up by public sales and then it's hardly justifiable to give much greater discounts. Think of the Filecoin sale for example

Filecoin seemed to be a disaster, and their requirements to actually invest really turned me off. I stopped paying attention to it, I'm assuming it's not doing great?

Yes, the ICO price is typically good on most projects. The Pre-ICO is just that...a bonus for people that are willing to pay their hard earned money on a project that's in its infancy. That brings with it risk.

So, there are only 5.9m$ left for crowdsale? I bet it's over in no time at all.

Yes, if SelfKey is going to cash out the ETH they raised in the pre-sale immediately. If they keep it until the end of the public token sale then the dollar value as well as the money left to raise may change up or down.

So if there is less than $6 million left for the public sale, the most of the targeted amount is already raised?
Then, I believe, the crowdsale also should be sold out pretty fast, even despite the fact that it doesn't have any bonus.

Their ICO?if im not mistaken, it was the best funded so far (around $200 M), it was on every news before.

Perhaps, but with the amount of bonus they were offering, and the hype is creating, its value could go down below ICO prices due to manipulation, more so if they don't put it on more than 2 exchanges out of the bat, and that its roadmap is like, very long before the launch of the platform, so, its price will be speculative for a long time before it gets the value it deserves.

The SelfKey pre-sale is officially closed. As we have reached $15,840,000 worth of KEY tokens sold and therefore hit our Pre-Sale maximum cap, the event has ended four days ahead of schedule.
So the development of your project will be faster than planned? since you already have enough funds (7 times more than the token sale softcap).
Will this $15,840,000 also be counted on the token sale cap?

For how long will the ico last?

The pre-sale ends on 24 December. The public sale is from 15 January to February 1st.

but what if all the tokens are sold before? will the normal sale start immediately?

and well 1000$ are just like 1.3 eth now Smiley not that big amount to contribute imo

The pre-sales is capped, but yes, most of the tokens have been sold already. Does not leave many tokens for the actual token sale January.

$14,842,657 sold
$15,840,000 pre-sale cap
$21,780,000 token sale cap

Why they have cap for pre-sale? They can raise all money on pre-sale I think  Huh

They could probably, but I assume they want to raise a bit more money through an normal ICO too. Nothing wrong with this in my eyes, a lot of ICOs have a pre-sale and normal ICO.

For everyone who managed to get tokens during the pre-sale, the cap is nice. This way they can already profit from their pre-sale bonus.

It was a nice pre-sale and I'm confident the token sale will do good as well considering the importance of this project.
I'm sure the coins will scatter as hot pies! The project shows his best side. Even nothing to complain about)

so it's roughly $7 million left for the regular sale? that's not much and will probably quickly sell out.

I think most ICO's cash something out after a pre-sale to fund all the expensed needed for the ICO.
Well for me that would make perfect sense anyway.

The idea of Selfkey is just like that of Civic. What are the main differences between Civic and Selfkey and Verify in that matter. This space seems becoming more and more competitive. Which I think is good.

True, marketing is a very important aspect of a successful campaign. Without that even how good your product or service is, it won't be successful. More bounties can help too!

It will be entering a great market. Where all the companies will only be needing one service for their KYCs and where customers like us wouldn't be needing to fill up the same KYC over and over again because it's already stored in the companieslike SelfKey
