Voice Biometric Authentication

We have partnered with VoiceIt, a cloud based biometrics company, to implement their voice biometric authentication technology into the SelfKey Identity Wallet.

VoiceIt’s voice biometric technology has key advantages over other biometrics such as retina or fingerprint, as it utilizes text-dependant voiceprint phrases and if compromised they can be removed and users can simply adopt a new voiceprint phrase.

Asked about VoiceIt’s partnership with SelfKey, VoiceIt’s CEO Noel Grover said:
"VoiceIt is proud to partner with SelfKey, a pioneer in digital identity management. With the ability to secure user accounts using VoiceIt’s industry leading biometrics, SelfKey is bringing identity management into the future".

VoiceIt supports over 40 languages, making this feature available to almost all SelfKey users.
At SelfKey, we are working hard exploring all available options to provide the best user experience. VoiceIt will allow Identity Wallet users to access and recover all of their crypto and identity assets with their voice.

Wonder if Selfkey is planning to work with cryptocurrency exchanges on KYC verification.
Thant alone would be a huge and would give bigest exposure to the project,not to mention positive impact on customer experience when signing up for an exchange and posible increase of security and safety of customer's funds.

We are currently working to integrate the Identity Wallet to cryptocurrency exchange platforms that will be listed in the Marketplace. This will allow SelfKey users to submit their SelfKey ID to instantly sign up for a verified exchange account without needing to upload their ID data and documents again, while allowing exchanges to conduct KYC on these account applications and be compliant with the highest AML&CTF standards.

Currently, Exchanges are facing regulator pressure to implement the proper processes in order to be compliant with KYC & AML/CTF regulations, facing the risk of fines or even being shut down if they do not do so. At the same time, they are inundated with new customer signup requests. Some exchanges have at times, stopped taking new accounts altogether. SelfKey provides a solution for exchanges to efficiently solve both problems.
