Has anybody on here using the web wallet, I'm really having problems I already have an account but I never enabled the 2factor authentication, so when I try to log in I can't log in because it keeps on asking for the 2factor authentication code even though I didn't active it, can anybody help me, how to retrieve my account?

did you send it from an exchange? coinexchange.io is still in the process of updating to the new wallet, they probably downloaded the blockchain from scratch which will tkae a while. if you sent them from an exchange where the XP wallet is in maintenance mode, your coins are not lost but you will have to wait for them to finish updating.

Does the Android wallet work? I downloaded it and sent some coins to the wallet, but it shows no connected peers and the transaction did not arrive in the app.

nope. been running the wallet for about 2 years now, ran multiple scans daily. new one as well, no trojan. not many views here if you are looking to manipulate the already fluid market, i understand the effort though

yeah if you have dealt with other coins, they sometimes get mistaken as trojans by the best of software upon initial wallet download. almost every wallet ive downloaded carried some warning or another, when they dont know how to clasiify the unknown, they immediately classify as trojan or prompt a permision request. i use webroot and norton, as well as another issued by my employer. when initially installing the wallet i too was alerted, but i was also with diamond coin, doge coin, bitcoin and most other QT wallets, it is common.

dont take my word for it though, the false trojan alarm is common enough and after the wallet is downloaded there is no sign of any virus, even bitdefender will confirm that. they like to be paranoid and cover themselves which is perfectly reasonable. by all means though, dont bother with several different alt coins if your virus software is telling you not to, most will send a red flag in one form or another and you should be very careful.

really i have never had a wallet get deleted when downloaded miner yes not a wallet so idk what kinda coins you use but might wanna watch it

i need help with the xp wallet. i am using the android phone to download the xp wallet. i bought XP from the exchange and have it sended to my xp wallet address, the exchange send the comfirmation with the txid.....i wait then check on the block explore it shown 500+ comfirmation....but it is not in my wallet. i am trying to contact xp for help....but don't know how.....please help me..........once again i am download the wallet through xpcoin.io via google playstore...android app last night....

I have read the white paper and this coin has a good concept, however a lot of people seem to be having wallet issues. I found the QT wallet easy to setup but did have trouble finding nodes.

Maybe the Dev or his team could spend an hour or 2 collating the nodes and giving some practical advise to novices. I have set up many wallets so not an issue and was able to find the nodes, however newer members of the community might have issues.

The QT Wallet takes a while to discover peers to connect to. It took me 4 hours for it to get enough connections (max. was 16) and sync the blockchain from December 17 to today. The Android wallet obviously has issues - it doesn't get any peers and no blockchain sync happens, so the coins sent to a wallet address of the Android app are now lost, because the app never shows them as received. Also it should be possible to import the Android wallet .txt file into the QT client. Right now the Android app is unusable.

it kind of sounds like they didnt update the mobile wallets yet? at any rate, the coins are not lost so long as you have the private keys they can be recovered. most of the issues people are having right now result from the exchanges not having the wallet update finished yet, that should clear up a lot of the deposit/withdrawal issues.

You don't have the private key of the mobile wallet. The dump file contains some encrypted data, but nothing usable to get to the coins.

What does the error message "Cannot read keys" mean when trying to restore the Android app wallet? The password is correct.

From the announcement this is were you can get nodes to add to your config file

Then go to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xp/#!network
Click on "node list"
Copy the whole list to the end of xp.conf

Being on a medium size exchange means nothing, however if we could get on biance we would go to the moon, I have voted and am hoping, however like Bit Bean or now bitbean cash, it may take a year to get some recognition.
