generateMTRandom function is created by the JKC, make sure you guys when using it put the proper copyright there.

There is even no need in using it. One could instead just take some part of the previous hash, convert it to decimal number, take the last digit of that number, perform integer division of that by two, add one, and achieve the same "deterministic randomness" in range from 1 to 5 inclusive.

lol yeah i think these announced ones are actually worse, gives the farms time to get ready to pounce and suck up all the coins. Better to do a random release i guess now after all, if you are on the forum at the time you have a chance of getting a few coins before those with super hash turn up.

Hey guys,

Remember difficulty re-targets every 250 blocks, so the network will normalize very quickly.

I will launch the first giveaway thread in moments when everything is setup and working well. It won't be the only one. We liked how ripple was distributed to many people and want to give everyone a piece.

Yeah but some of the blocks are just 1 coin, so that's like finding 25 blocks. So with ftc that would be like giving away 25 x 200 coins actually. Pretty big give away considering block size i guess.
