Hi guys, I've been in the world of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for some time, some relatives and friends ask me to buy gold or bitcoin to save, and I answer:
1. If you want to be safe without worrying about buying gold, because its price is very stable, at 1200 dollars an ounce.
2. This topic has been done to death, dude.
I like both, but I like bitcoin better. I just wish there was an easy way to sell bitcoin that's safe--like when Circle was around. Coinbase already banned me, so that's out. But anyway, I've recently purchased a few gold coins, and they're frigging beautiful. You can't say the same for bitcoin. But you can't send gold around the world in seconds, either. They both have their uses, but they're essentially different. And I worry about bitcoin crashing. Gold is not even close to being at a price where it's going to crash.
Also, you can't wear nice jewelry made out of bitcoin. Gold will always have that advantage.

if I were you I would buy bitcoin then I would start with a trade. by making a profit taking at every opportunity. that way I will have more profits and can buy gold from the profit that I get it. I will not start with investing because investing takes a long time. after all, I do not have any expertise in investment. but if in terms of trading I always have an advantage even though it is not big |

I've bought bitcoin and some altcoins. I'm also interested in buying gold and I might buy a small amount. The biggest problem I see with gold is that if you have a lot of it, how do you store it? I doubt I would want lots of it in my house.

if I personally rather recommend you buy bitcoin, because bitcoin has a very extraordinary price and bitcoin is rarely down the price, as we see bitcoin prices always increase from year to year, so I further recommend you to buy bitcoin

I prefer Bitcoins because it has a great chance of raising the price and reaching a hundred dollar value. We know that Gold is famous because it is the first thing we used to pay for our natives. It is also a historical and it comes from natural resources. But the world is changing and it begins to receive the technology that changes everything. Even the money we use history has passed and we should be becoming more intelligent over time. So we must accept what is happening.

why would you compare it one to another ?
both of them have their own use and i believe most of them do not understand what is Bitcoin,
because only them who has nearly zero knowledge about Bitcoin will ask such a thing.
people will tell you which one is the best ? when both of them are different assets in the beginning,
i heard some of them asked it that way because of the colour of Bitcoin and the Gold itself,
both of them are gold,that is why they compared it.
1.Gold is an assets and most of it used as a jewelry,and what will happen with its price ? it's quite stable,
but it does not mean it'll be forever standstill,sometime/someday there'll be a huge change with the price if global economy is crashing.
2.Bitcoin is a digital assets,used by people to send or pay someting across the world/place in a few minutes.
which mean with the time and technology,it'll be used by people because of this.

I came to known about bitcoin when the price was $240/BTC, however the price have never goes bellow that price rather the price have always keeps going up. So I, will advise anyone whos seeks my advise on buying bitcoin to wait whenver there is a rumor the price drups down at that point you can buy it at a reduced price. Because I have came to understand that presentely it is only remors to clash bitcoin is what can make bitcoin price reduce.

I'll suggest you to buy bitcoin rather than to buy gold.Because the price of BTC is increasing faster than gold.Again,if the price falls,it won't be too lose for you..

Bitcoin is no better than gold, and gold is no better than bitcoin but both are better than paper money. Because both have advantages and disadvantages, bitcoin with fluctuating price, will make us have to use extra consideration in making decision to buy or sell. But will instantly make us suddenly rich or poor suddenly because the price is determined by the user bitcoin itself. In contrast to the price of gold that is stable and visible form, can be used at any time because people will know the characteristic of gold.

its kinda horriblle, i always kept seeing this kind of topic almost everywhere, comparing bitcoins to some investments and other stuffs like this, but as you can see, more and more people are investing because of its potential in bitcoin, while to tell it honestly some people just do it because of the trend nowadays.

For me I will prefer to buy bitcoin than gold because bitcoin has many uses and its price is continously increasing thus it will give you more money and improve your life. While gold is also a good asset but its price do not increase like the increase of bitcoin. you can buy gold from the money you earned from bitcoin if you really want.

Obviously, i will go with Bitcoins together with the majority of people in this forum than gold. Befause clearly, bitcoins and other crypto currencies are things that makes having great orofits easier. That is, if you know what you are doing. Plus it does not require much from anyone looking to get into it. All it takes is a skill to communicate in english and common sense(of course having more skills would he better. But you get my ooint.).but hey, if you really are paranoid, then do both. Start with crypto, and then buy gold. That way you can make sure your money is safe. But that's yiur choice, i certainly wouldn't want to go through that kind of hassle in life when there is an easier way. |

So many discussions on this subject but I will always say I prefere gold. It's true that gold has the value since men first discovered it and always will have some value but I strongly beleive that bitcoin is much more profitable especialy in moments like now when the price is high. With much lower investment than in gold you could earn more, that is maybe the bigest advantage.
But since is good to diversify the investments you could split your funds on both but put biger amount on bitcoin.
