Can anyone explain this in english instead of C++? Also I'm assuming this is a soft fork and not mandatory to keep mining? Minor changes, not a hard fork. SSL3 is insecure so the dev disabled it in addition to SSL2 which was already disabled.

It's not regarded as mainstream yet, also they miht feature it to another thing completely gnd have think it has a bad status or something like that foolish. So yes we are able to every go out and teach two or three individuals about Bitcoin and the blockchain and finally we will see improvement with wide spread adoption.a

Actually when they don't make any sense the posts are from a BOT trying to farm the account so it can be used for sig campaigns and airdrops, probably so they can put the account up for sale. Just report posts like these that make no sense as off topic.

Looks like we are in the top 50 in exchange volume on coin markets. Maybe since that is our only exchange but not bad. Hashrate is a little high, wondering if the amazon s3 miner is back in a limited capacity.

Anyone got a different miner or GPU miner working yet?
GPU mining is not likely to be worth the effort/power costs, if this algo limits GPU performance as much as yescrypt does it will be about 3-5X slower than CPU mining. Surprisingly the best miner for me is the wallet's setgenerate command, the cpuminer-opt is about 20% slower for me. I'm sure someone with better skills than me can create an even more optimized CPU miner eventually.

Interestingly, and perhaps to make such a miner to the modern fast cards, he was slow and old - like on CPUs?)

But it is hard to find yescrypt benchmarks and it seems this algo is slower than yescrypt at least for CPU's so I'm curious if GPU's are better or worse. Only 1 cpu benchmark for yescrypt can I find. http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/yescrypt-cpu-miner/

This is impossible, what operating system are you using?

I have tried with gpu and it seems it does give lower hashrates

there is no such algorithm, since there is no magic in Intel/AMD CPUs.

there is no such algorithm, since there is no magic in Intel/AMD CPUs. CryptoNight-Lite (AEON) is faster in modern CPU because its very memory dependiente and in CPU use L3 cache that it's faster than DDR5.
