I was thinking if i mine in N-Engine pool, should i use "eu server" if i live in eu or that "default" ?

It says "We use a geoDNS proxy system, so you dont need to focus on selecting what is the fastest link for you.
But you can use different host name (algo/currency) for your rig"

EU Server: stratum+tcp://eu.n-engine.com:<PORT>

Default: stratum+tcp://crypto.n-engine.com:<PORT>

Do it matter? And how about port? If there is many ports to choose (this case two ports) do it matter what port i use?

Working on modifying p2pool to work with this coin, which hopefully won't be as ressource heavy as Yiimp.
Almost there:

Any p2pool pros around?

Edit: Fixed the error, now stuck at a different one. Cheesy

Guys, this rich list is really important to me. I’ve been doing crypto only snce July, but I’ve come to realize how important fair distribution is to the health of a coin. Most asic-resistant algos are still mined by huge GPU players, but this coin is special in that even single CPU owner can mine and increase the difficulty for large players.

Wallet MU9 is paul the aws guy, who mined with 100 kh/s for the first week. It’s a large % of total supply, but net hash has increased so much since the first week that it is bery difficult for any other single person to hoarde that much. And every day the richest YTN owners will have less of a % of supply. It’s really encouraging. YescriyptR16 is reallt, really asic resistant.

It is still so early for this coin. Every day, 36,000 coins are distributed to individual miners all over the world. There are no asics or GPU farms.

According to my google searches this could mean that the mining protocol is too different or that the p2pool version I forked is not compatible with coins that have a recent codebase. Trying the official p2pool source now instead of the ancient one I used until now.

ASIC/GPU resistant coins are the future. PoS was a dud. GPUs/ASICs kill the coin before it gets off the ground, and the PoS coins hyperinflate almost always with the richlist having billions which just get dumped on the exchange to 1 sat, or it's a low PoS (like 1-8%) which isn't good enough for them and it gets ignored. In both cases, the coin dies more often than not.

The thing about aws, is that it's available to anyone with 20 dollars to get into a coin like this and get a few or more for themselves. I see this algorithm, hodl, burst, etc as the future of coins. People are tired of rigs and whales killing their projects and investments.

Yeah there was a time when laptops could only mine, like, 1 bitcoin per day. What’s the point?

Had 35% rejected shares there while I only get 2.5% rejected shares at https://crypto.n-engine.com, which I hope is more stable now.
