Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable?

at this time trading still profitable for me. i still hold my coin because some of the coins that I hold have decreased in price and i would make them for long term invest.

Holding is best. Maybe someone here differs with me regarding this opinion but what I think is there must be some wait and gain thing. Like if you have any coin, better is to divide the sum and put one part in one coin and other one in the remaining one.

This will help you build a better strategy so that profits can be increased as per the profit ratios of two different coins. Holding is helpful.

Holding is good, sure, but it is not the best choice for active people. Good traders can make money even then the market is down.

True,even my self could be profitable no matter on what is the condition of the recent market yet im an active trader i can able to make money and scalp on any position. End of the day make some profits but not still a guaranteed one which i would say just trade up by using your knowledge and skills you will able to see on how profitable on making trades out of crypto.

Many advantages that we will get, apart from that all altcoin is the best option in making profits, because over time coin that we hold will increase but this is not the right time to sell but now is the right time to buy altcoin lot so that when the price of the stable currency crypto we can feel the benefits of the holder

Yes, trading Bitcoin and other altcoins is still profitable surely, because the prices are still volatile and with holding, and choosing the best mement to sell, you can making good profit. Thats why you can see a lot of people around the world still trading crypto currencies, and some of them work full time with trading.

Trading is always profitable. The question is only how much you have to invest and I don't mean only funds and how much you will get back.
It's not so easy to make profit with trading like it seems and it takes time and experience.
It's also important which coin you choose and how well you know the market. The choice is not easy and you have to pick very carefuly, losing money is easy.

I was a trader awhile back, I want to say about a year ago now and wanted to know what the current state of the market is for the traders that are currently trading to this day? I know a lot of the current exchanges that I used for trading, such as Poloniex, are still around but aren't really being used much as before.

Of course! Trading bitcoins and altcoins are still profitable. I am currently trading altcoins and I always earning 5-10% of my capital. I earned now many bitcoins because of day trading.

I really admire you because you can still get profit from trading in recent time when the price of bitcoin and altcoins is dump very strong. Although the recent market is very bad but this also can be a chance for traders because bitcoin or altcoins price is very cheap, downward trend is coming the end and the market will soon recover in next month. I think i will invest in some altcoins by saving money at the time.

Buying even more alts would really depend on case to case basis which it depends on a certain coin if it do have the capability or potential to rise up its price for long term then its your own discretion to accumulate even more.Making profits is really possible but it will really require skills and if we do try to look at on traders on the entire market we can say that interest on making money on price movements is there.

we all know, that lately the price of all coins continues to decline and will result in losses if we sell coins owned. After I did some research from my friends and some people in this forum, all they did was keep all the coins they had until they were worth the sale, I'm sure the longer the price of all the coins would have a good price, and now it's also seen that bitcoin and altcoin prices are increasing every day, though not at such an expensive price, but at least there are always price fixes that happen every day.

You can make money on declines in Bitcoin, too.  Bitcoin futures on the CME and CBOE allow you to go 'short' and make money if the price goes down. (And of course, you'll also lose money if BTC goes up.)

Because of very active market I able to recover my losses by means of scalping or day trading. But now for almost a month I am waiting again to have or recover again due to wrong timing of buying when the big crashes happened early 2018.

I think that trading both bitcoin and altcoins are still profitable. As the market is moving too fast, it would be better if you avoid day-trading. You can trade for a longer-period of time. There are many well-established altcoins you can trade such as Neo, Litecoin, and Ethereum, you should also avoid shitcoins.

Right timing on when you are wanted to buy on and on when you have to sell trading is risky any of bitcoin or altcoin but you have to be more careful and right knowledge is for the best that you have to do for .
