Is ALQO anyhow anonymous?

By default ALQO is not 100% anonymus. But with the Liberio wallet there will be a feature to make send and receive transactions totally anonymus. Addtly. there will be the possibility to have addresses which are 100% opaque to the blockchain meaning you can be sure nobody knows about the balance of the address at any time.

Check out the whitepaper for SHROUD

https://alqo.org/whitepaper.pdf

You can already send 100% Anon tx with darksend. Just check the darksend feature in the right bottom corner of your wallet client.

An ALQO listing on https://www.kucoin.com/#/ would be cool. They have a bonus program in place, which sounds nice. Check out the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzwXDOJ7Y5s&feature=youtu.be

The ALQO community could make a lot of invites amongst themself and earn from other people trading Cheesy

Just watched your Q&A and I am quite impressed with your project plan and reasoning for everything so far.

I am late to this vote, but I strongly recommend Kucoin for the next exchange listing. All the hottest ICOs are getting listed on Kucoin and the majority are doing great. I originally started using kucoin to get in on dragonchain post ICO and I am liking it more and more every day. I have moved most of my trading from binance over to kucoin. They also have tradeview baked in, which I think huobi is the only other exchange that has it.

Binance and Bittrex have also stopped new user registration which would limit new people (germans?) from entering the crypto space and buying Alqo. I'm glad we're not going on ShitTopia. Their charts are literally 1 hour delayed and their UI is horrifying. Kucoin is also going to blow past cryptopia in the next few weeks in terms of volume.

Thats exactly our thoughts on this. We hope that it will work out.

It would be great to get KuCoin but it might be more difficult than some of the others. Would be amazing if you succeed though!

I agree, if Kucoin stays at this pace they will be one of the top exchanges.

Hey guys,

to shorten the waiting time for a new exchange user chuckhigreen created an awesome ALQO wallpaper. I've already made it to my personal background to be reminded of the awesome ride we are in at the moment.

Attention:

Due to Updates against Spectre and Meltdown attacks our Services and Websites might have some longer waiting times. At this point we want to warn you when you are surfing in the web at times like this, those "viruses" are really bad and they can make that you lose your cryptocurrency privkeys. We recommend you to update your anti virus softwares and not to use any cloud services such as google drive, or amazon cloud for at least 7 days.

Kucoin is already above Cryptopia, so it will be awesome to be listed on there  Smiley https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Must give big thanks to the devs of ALQO, got my masternode set up within about 5-10 minutes and those sweet rewards are coming in daily  Grin Still can get one cheap under 1btc.

How can I safely encrypt my wallet.dat file? The ALQO wallet seems to be able to encrypt private keys but I'm not sure how to encrypt the actual backup wallet.dat files. I want to make sure everything is secure and atm have abunch of backups that seem very susceptible to theft!
Thanks in advance!

P.S. Awesome wallpaper!

Hello,
I'd also like to know about securing my ALQO.
I've set up a MN (using your great hosting service) and I've encrypted the wallet, am I now able to delete the wallet.dat file after backing it up so I can offline the wallet?

Also while I haven't had any payments yet because it's only been 12 hours, the 'status' field says missing, and I can't see my node when I check 'all nodes' on a different machine. Is this abnormal?
edit: nevermind, I started the alias again and it showed up, not sure why it stopped.

Can I ask how you encrypted it?
And further to this point, are the automatic wallet.dat backups also then encrypted? If not it would seem necessary to somehow disable automatic backups right?

I was under the impression that the 'encrypt wallet' option under settings did that
I think once I did that there was a pop-up that said all previous backups of the wallet.dat file were made unusable, can't remember exactly. I'm assuming all automatic backups would then be encrypted.
