Got one for 7 day release! Thanks!

No idea how, this website is a piece of shit, and the company apparently doesn't know how to work a clock.

"3:00 NY time"

They went on sale at 1:20 NY time.

Site shows 55 in stock.  Add one to my cart, it tells me not enough to fill my order.

Now it says next round in 50 minutes.

Fuck these morons.  Guess I'll just wait for an S9 and overpay.  At least their website fuckin works....

It just means you were too slow, the total batch per release is 200 units

Bullshit.  The website said there was stock.  I went to my cart and it said there wasn't.  I clicked on the product again and it still said there was stock.

It means their website is a piece of shit is what it means.

Yeah I was waiting too until 3, I guess I got lucky and loaded the page at the right time, couldn't believe my eyes that they were on sale and added to my cart lol.  Checked out as fast as I could and then paid.

It's fuckin bullshit.

A)  If the website says a time, then stick to the fuckin time.  Don't be a retard.

B)  If the website says in stock, then there goddamned well better be fuckin stock.  Don't let me add it to my cart, then have something pop up and tell me it's not in stock, then I go look at the product list and it still says in stock and the quantity hasn't even diminished.

Fuckin junk.  Website was made by a 3 year old with FrontPage.

Go suck a dick.

Hire a real web developer you bush league fools.

They are using WooCommerce. Based on how they have explained their ordering process previously, they most likely have it setup to hold stock for 80 minutes. This means if a bunch of people add items to their cart, it's going to hold stock and prevent others from ordering it. The actual inventory won't adjust until that hold time expires or the order is processed. If there's only 1 miner left in actual inventory, and someone pays before you do, you're simply out of luck because you didn't pay quick enough. They may also have WooCommerce configured to always show stock.

It's not a problem with their site. You just aren't quick enough. If you aren't on the site at the exact time they make them available and don't add to cart and checkout within a minute of release, chances are that you won't get one until held stock or another batch is released. I've been on the site at the exact times they've made them available and have been able to order just fine. First time I didn't even have to wait. Second time everything was gone in under a minute and I had to wait until held stock was released. Earlier batches sell out much faster. There's a lot of demand for miners, and everything everywhere, including used, has been selling out almost immediately. Check out eBay if you don't want to wait and don't mind paying 3-5x's more.

My payments were confirmed quickly. Make sure you send BTC with large enough tx fee to confirm within first 2-4 blocks. They usually reply within 3-5 days.

I understand what you are saying, and what you are saying makes sense - however, it does not change the fact that it is a shitty system.  A REAL order system deducts from inventory when an item is placed in the cart.  Said item is them returned to stock after x number of minutes if the purchase is not completed.

Their poorly designed piece of shit, while most likely working as intended, does not do this, and instead allows you to place items in your cart which are shown in stock, but aren't actually there.

Ergo, it's still a piece of shit.

I'm well aware of the demand for miners, this is not the first miner I've attempted to purchase.  I've got a bunch of Bitmain stuff here already.  Bitmain's website is far easier to deal with, slow though it may be.  If the item gets into my cart, I can check out and pay for it without issue.  None of this "it's in my cart, but now it's not available" or "Ok, I got it in my cart, now let me go to the next step of filling out there form before I get told it's not available".

I use WooCommerce on quite a few sites. It's developed well. Reducing stock when adding to cart would be an even worse scenario and would allow one person to wipe out or hold all the inventory. That's what the hold stock feature would allow. Thinking again, it's more likely they aren't using it and stock is reduced only after payment as that would allow you to add an item to the cart while it's still in stock, but then be out of stock if it's the last one and someone else pays before you. They are probably manually clearing unpaid orders after x minutes or have a custom function that does it. By default, stock is reduced when an order changes to "Processing" status.

This issue was rejected years ago:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/5966

The ordering process is really no different than sneakerheads and bots trying to order limited shoes that sell out instantly. You just have to be quicker.

Except it doesn't work as you describe.  The first time, it said there were 48 in stock.  Added one to my cart, and a pop up said they were out of stock.

So I Went back and looked at the item again.  It STILL said 48 in stock.

Same thing the second time, but fewer were in stock.  Less than 30.  Got it into my cart, then proceeded to checkout, filled out the form, clicked submit, and THEN it said out of stock.  Look at the item, sure as shit, still a bunch listed in stock.

I don't care what you say, or how you try to explain it away, their website is a piece of shit.

No doubt! We get it, the site is not perfect. Pangolinminer gets it too. They have directions on
the site that tell you to clear your cache if you are experiencing problems. Also, make sure
whatever device you are using isn't a total turd as well. That way when you "refresh" your
screen, the quantity hasn't dropped dozens of numbers. They literally have a countdown on
their site. It's literally gonna be a race competition with the thousands of other people worldwide
who want these 200 miners. Be prepared not to come in 1st place, or 199 for that matter.

It has become painfully clear to me that no one here, including you, understands my fundamental complaint with this shitty website.

I'm perfectly fine with not coming in first, or even 199th - so long as the fucking things TELLS ME SO.

There is no need to waste my time filling out shopping cart pages for product that doesn't exist, but nobody told the shitty website that yet.

I don't care what you say, or how you try to explain it away, their website is a piece of shit.

Your issue is that WooCommerce doesn't subtract stock counts on the frontend from pending orders. If they have a bunch of orders that are in pending status, which is the initial status they go into, it will still show stock as being available until those orders change to processing. That stock isn't necessarily available though (it's pending), which is why it complains after trying to add to cart. Again, WooCommerce order status doesn't change from pending to processing until payment is confirmed and then stock is reduced. They had information posted previously that stated they were clearing unpaid pending orders every 80 minutes.

If you're this pissed cause you're not quick enough, imagine how pissed you'd be if there was no stock check in place for pending orders, they let your order go through, and then they send you an email days later saying it was cancelled because someone paid before you and there's no stock left. Not only do you not get your order, but you would most likely lose whatever BTC you paid in tx fees. It works the way it does for a reason.

If you understand WooCommerce order statuses, and it's saying there's stock available, letting you add to cart, but not letting you checkout, then you'd know that stock is pending and that you should leave it in your cart and keep trying to checkout as it may become available once pending orders are cleared. When it's completely out of stock, you can't even add to your cart. Reducing stock for pending orders would most likely result in you never getting a chance to add to cart and always showing out of stock immediately.

If you don't like it, simple solution is to use an extension or write a script that posts the form data automatically and non-stop until successful. Chances are multiple people are already doing that and that's why it's difficult to order.

I doubt if a person can't clear a cache, they could pull this off. The website could be better, but it works good enough that my orders went through,
as well as many others. There are some tricks and tips to make it easier, but some people are too impatient to try. EVERYONE here that ordered
had to deal with it, and I'm sure many will be returning customers. Hell, they didn't even have the countdown when I ordered. I had to stay up for 24hrs
and keep refreshing the page!!!

For me, no not really. I will use them until I get something more efficient for sure. And honestly, I'm not entirely sure
I'd even buy an S9. I've read a lot about the problems they are prone too as of late. Also, I'm beginning to see BITMAIN
as a corporate monster more than anything.
I have no problem giving my business to a company that's getting their foot
in the door, if it takes a little from the greedy companies. Pangolinminer is squeezing every last bit out of 28nm technology
and made a decent machine doing so. Hopefully they have an R&D working on something new, that's alittle more efficient.

For me it's simple economics, yes it's not as efficient, but is quite a bit cheaper than the current S9 offering. I also get them a month sooner, at least at the time I ordered.
