Not trying to FUD or anything, maybe I am misinformed. But I thought generally the trend in crypto is moving from POW to POS? Am I mistaken?

Proof of Work has a scalability problem.  That's well known.  Segwit, Casper, etc. are intended to relieve the problems caused by things like Crypto Kitty. That doesn't really affect our business though.

First of all, this change will take place gradually, over a long period of time before it propagates to every different blockchain.  For example, the Casper PoS changeover for the Ethereum blockchain which is already underway will only affect single-digit percentages of that network through the end of 2018.

In the meantime, there will be years of profitable mining for many different coins.  Envion’s MMUs choose from a long list of coins to always mine the most profitably based on real-time market data.  Changes related to difficulty, PoS, etc affecting a single coin don’t affect profitability because we just switch to mining a different coin.

Looking into the future, we also see an opportunity in the massive wave of investment from enterprises in blockchain-based products and services.  When these projects come online in the next 2-5 years, they will need computing infrastructure to support their blockchain technologies.  That's where envion can provide a strong value as a blockchain infrastructure provider that is audited, regulated, and global.  Bosch, GE, etc. are not going to ask a mining farm in Mongolia to provide their computing infrastructure when envion can provide enterprise-grade service and the best pricing in the industry.

That is still a long-term outlook.  In the meantime, there are still years of profitable mining to come.

As I understand envion plans to pay about $1 per $100 per week. The plan takes ether price of $400. dividens will be in ether. So that 0.01 ether per 100 env.
That is 0.52 ether per 100 env per year.
Even if we deduct the 25% of development that is 0,39 ether per year
Right now ehter is about 700$, that is 1 ether = 700 env, that gives at least 2,73 ether per year
the safety is more than 50% (extra cost, something rong) simply to be as with ether with no investment

Could someone say something against it? What are the main risks:
difficulty to buy a huge amount of miner's equipment. But envion could reserve it in advance/

Specialists in ligistics and hardware? Envion could hire them

Thanks for the fast response. So essentially this is a medium term project, which I can appreciate. All projects nowadays are long term, which really is just an excuse for "I wont do anything until 5 years from now, if you are still looking at the project". Medium term projects are a big thumbs up from me))

We also have to keep in mind that many countries with buying power are eighter excluded or restricted from participating in the ICO of Envion.

I think the demand for Envion will be huge as soon as the tokens hit the open market and everyone will be able to buy them.

Hard cap is the number of tokens, which are 150 millions -17%. Soft cap was already reached during the first 10 minuts of ico.
