I've been watching IOTA for a while searching and reading for the reviews of its coin and some of them are not happy about that because there's a possibility that it will not a good long term investment and some of them just like to take the risk

iota is good, but what about EOS.  It seams like iota has stalled out recently because of raiblocks.   EOS is supposed to have fast transactions as well.

There is no cause and effect here--xrb (P2P) and iota (M2M) are after two different markets. Iota will probably rise when there is another big announcement--i'm surprised it didn't retrace back to the $2-3 range.

Another couple of announcements coming next week (not sure how big) for IOTA which is maybe why they are picking up in price.

XRB looks funny to me. It has risen to a 2 billion market cap on small exchanges on very low volume where even 1-2 BTCs could eat whole sell walls and rise the price? Everything combined with a heavy shilling campaign on reddit... Mhh I dont trust it.

There is still a very good opportunity to keep collecting IOTA. It is very cheap considering that it can reach around 100 usd in 2018. Bullish run season for altcoins is about to come and iota will join this run with its huge potential.

IOTA is absolutely the next big thing. They’re just getting started. Bought at 40 cents and never sold.

What about competing tangle technologies, such as rails and others? Can Iota survive serious oposition or perhaps a competitor with better access to financial resources?

Hello! Last week ICO of HDAC project took place. What do you think about it? HDAC will have own chain with fast transactions and on HDAC chain will be smart contracts available. They are considered as IOTA competitors.

I’ve been watching IOTA for a while now and am pretty much all in.
Bought mainly around 35-50c and I’m amazed it didn’t drop back to the $2 range after its run.
Very exciting technology.
