Hey Buck, Is that AMHash signature part of a real campaign? Or, are you just being supreme advocate?

pfff, thise shares are going nowhere. The one positive thing is the folowing: if the divs would come back some day, i'll see this share easily go > 0.3 at least initially) I bought 2 shares around 0.27 if I remember correctly (that massive auction on the forums) Should have sold at least one above 0.7 anyway, i'm considering buying 8 shares or so, to lower my buy in when the exchange rate would dip below 0.1 again, preferably in the 0.07-0.09 range Yep that will be the day when we see havelock well doing its usual thing Of spontaneously crashing as people pour Bitcoins into the exchange (Looks forward to that lunacy though haha) Went back again to 0.1 though so at IPO again.

If you wonder where your divs are going, it is to owners of AMHASH.

If you wonder where the capital went, it was to shares of AMHash. People who wanted mining divs got mining divs. Obvious post is obvious.

Generation 4 chip announcement Share price moved up from 0.09 to 0.14 Seems like the time to bring this one up again for a bit, speculation's on where we are going from here and how this batch will be compared to the Prisma's. We are glad to announce ASICMiner's 4th generation chip. From the physical testing data of our verification sample, BE300S, the silicon results matches the simulation results faithfully, and even outperforms our simulation in some cases. BE300S achieved the lowest energy consumption per gigahash in existing market, getting the joule/gh ratio down below 0.2. Furthermore, our string-based power solution eliminates almost all power losses and almost all electric components on the board. Therefore on-wall power consumption would be very close to (on-chip power/PSU efficiency), and the overall system cost is squeezed to its minimum. Name: BE300S (Sample) Technology: TSMC 28nm HPC Package: FCLGA 5mm x 5mm On chip efficiency (first board): 3.0GH/s | 0.1872W/G 4.8GH/s | 0.2275W/G 5.2GH/s | 0.2469W/G On board efficiency (average of 4 boards): 2.8GH/s | 0.1961W/G 3.2GH/s | 0.2026W/G 3.6GH/s | 0.2095W/G 4.0GH/s | 0.2145W/G 4.8GH/s | 0.2204W/G 5.2GH/s | 0.2257W/G 5.6GH/s | 0.2314W/G 6.4GH/s | 0.2363W/G 6.8GH/s | 0.2439W/G 7.2GH/s | 0.2495W/G We are still testing more voltage-frequency combinations, as well as more chips. But the test results are stable and solid so far. After the thorough testing of single chip boards, we are going to test boards with chained chips. Single chip board picture: Testing going on: More data and pictures are to be updated.

Anyone want to take a stab at outlining a "best case" scenario (for shareholders) assuming that AM is first to market with a chip that is (for arguments sake) 50% more energy efficient than anything else out there. I have a hard time determining how realistic it is to build a 100 PH farm these days. One year ago building a 1 PH farm sounded impossible, and so while building a 100 PH farm (by one entity like ASICMINER) sounds impossible to me now... maybe it's easier than I think?

In reality, they could announce 9 generations of the best chips ever designed. Consuming almost no electricity. But, until it translates into a fucking dividend - it adds no value on its own.

to close to the news to not be insider trading That is not necessarily true. We knew the news was coming, and we knew that friedcat's posting while shares have been trading at this level has always resulted in a price ramp, even if a short lived one. The downside risk of what FC might say, compared with where the price was already at relative to speculative valuations of AM made for an attractive gambit, even with no insider knowledge. If there was a significant number of shares to be snapped up below .15, doing so might not be a terrible plan, and actually generates the rumor that there is insider knowledge, or the expectation of good things coming to boost momentum in your favor to dump part or all of those shares for a profit while averaging down on your other holdings. It could have just been a well calculated risk.
