Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin? We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse". So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
Nope, for me it's not being greedy at all. Saving any amount you possess for a greater return and for emergency purposes for me is a wise decision.

First of all i want to say bitcoin holding is not greedy. I have a right to hold Bitcoin and bitcoin holding is good thinking. if you want to increasing your money then you should buy bitcoin. Bitcoin has potential in the future and it is price increasing day by day. it is the best way to earn profit .
In trading each step is taken with millions of cleared thoughts, every person is trying to be rich n very short time and enjoying the blessings of nature by becoming financially stable, so it is not greedy or stingy to hold your bitcoin the person is just waiting for the worth to increase more so that he earn more and secure his future Obviously there is nothing wrong in pondering over methods of making money to live a lavish or at least satisfied life. No matter whether it is trading or holding of bitcoin, the ultimate objective of everyone is to obtain profit and if someone is holding bitcoin for long time just for making money, there is nothing wrong or immoral about it. Greed is very negative word used for this method of making money.

I don't hodling bitcoin is greedy. Its looking out for your own future. Its believing in the technology that bitcoin uses. I think people saying its greed is that they don't understand the technology or they are just jealous they don't own any bitcoin. What type of person doesn't encourage saving and investing? As far as I'm concerned everyone should buy and store some bitcoin.

Being rich by saving money for a long time is not a mistake. while Greedy is a form of the nature of a person who is never satisfied to meet his needs, there are rich people who have 10 Btc or 100 Btc is enough, but there are also who want to have even more. These could be part of the nature of people who wants to take everything. As rising bitcoins prices going moon, many people always continue to buy and save it. I think this will certainly be a boomerang in future.

You have a point, holding bitcoin doesn't mean you're being greedy it just happen that you want to save for something big. Bigger than spending it on useless things. For example investing it on different projects or try trading for once. This is only a few steps to have a brighter future.

If working and investment are goes to define greedy so I think all people of the world are greedy. Holding bitcoin especially in the days when the price is going down is a great act of patience. Generally, if your investment is still investment so it will give you return but when you withdraw your investment so it will not give you something in return and it is the name of business. Bitcoin business requires holding for good earning in future so it is not an act of greedy.

I don't think so...Every Bitcoin user has his own reasons for holding his Bitcoin. But greediness may be the least of them. It is the purpose of that person which would determine whether he is under the influence of greed or not. And whatever that reason may be, only the user will ever know.

Generally people earn less money for their work. But every person has to accumulate some money for their future days. I don't prefer to spend my money to buy some unnecessary things. I bought Bitcoin. I can't describe myself as a greedy person, because I need more money to live and Bitcoin may be help me make it happen.

No sir, this is a strategy used by investors and traders and cannot be simply stated as being greedy. I think that there's nothing wrong in holding you assets and waiting until the price is right to spend or sell again.

Holding bitcoin does not make one greedy. If this was the case, everyone who invest in the stock market is also greedy. Sure they hope to make money but that does not make one greedy. It makes one smarter for not spending money but investing money to have a secure financial future.

Holding Bitcoin is the way to make your profit become bigger. It is not being greedy. It is the practical way. It is the easiest yet profitable. Are you afraid of investing in Bitcoin? Do you think you will never have a profit and you will get a loss on your money instead? That will never happen. Bitcoin is for long term investment. If you are patient, your future worth will increase.

I think it's all a strategy. a strategy sometimes requires greed. I will do anything for the sake of my strategy can run smoothly. you can imagine that when you want a profit then you will do various ways in order to get it. that's why I think sometimes is needed in a life.

Greedy? Of course not holding your bitcoin in your wallet for a long period of time even if it takes 20 years in your wallet is not an act of greediness infact its called saving money in the future for a reason like for your children or any unexpected happenings it can only be called greedy if 1/2 of the total bitcoin supply was bought by someone for profit purposes.
