Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
This is not greedy for me because we all know that holding bitcoin is the best and nice way to earn more money so i think holding bitcoin is not called greedy people want money and people need this so for me greedy is when you sell this at a low price. |

I don't think holding bitcoin is greedy, still as a trader holding something is not that efficient. Holding is for investors usually. that's what I think. I'd prefer always putting my stop loss to minimize losses. If you're not trading that much. it's pretty safe to hold bitcoin as we are a community focused on cryptocurrency we know that the value will really go up in time. so happy holding my friend ^_^

It's not greedy, it's strategy. Holding BTC is like trading already. You mean to say those on stock market and crypto are also greedy? |

I don't believe it is a greed. I guess people wants to hold bitcoins because they want to earn money. They want to make business. Its not bad to hold bitcoins. It matters, depends upon how you used your money.

I don't think that holding too much bitcoin is being greedy but rather it will decrease the amount of bitcoin in the market if someone will just hold bitcoin and will never sell it. I think they just need a time to come up with something to do with their bitcoin. |

It is not being greedy. This is what we called strategy and if a person invest then he/she expects a profit. If this is what you call greed then do not be naive. We live in a society that money make the world spins. So what you expect to the people that holds bitcoin. They do it for their future.

It's just a matter of self judgement toward your actions when having cryptocurrency as a business opportunity. When you first started investing, you had probably set a specific goal before selling your bitcoin. But then again there's nothing wrong in changing your plans as long as you only take the blame to yourself. I clearly can't see why you have to choose that decision if you doubt yourself. Just do what you think is best and hope for a good tomorrow. |

You are right a lot of the people are now using the bitcoin and with the time it will become the world currency it is the best time for the bitcoin and the value of the bitcoin will be high as a lot of the people are buying and the bitcoin and holding s the basic strategy of the bitcoin is making the all things easy and the safe for the people who are buying and selling the bitcoin now the bitcoin is increasing so it is eh best time to hold the bitcoin. |

You are right a lot of the people are now using the bitcoin and with the time it will become the world currency it is the best time for the bitcoin and the value of the bitcoin will be high as a lot of the people are buying and the bitcoin and holding s the basic strategy of the bitcoin is making the all things easy and the safe for the people who are buying and selling the bitcoin now the bitcoin is increasing so it is eh best time to hold the bitcoin. Most of the people if get more income and it will get the more information for investing. then people get more money and save for future purpose. so it will hold the bitcoin greedy. Bitcoin is future currency. So it will hold the bitcoin some future purposes. Bitcoin is give more information for the business improvement and process handling. Bitcoin is good to use for the future growth. |

Actually, most of bitcoin users prefer to hold their bitcoin than to sell it because the price was rapidly in increasing so thay if they continue in holding the price will become more expensive and it may lead to a high income. Just hold your bitcoin and wait more longer time. |

I think you must miss some of Sunday Church lessons. If such a thing was a curse. Why do you really made any investments in your life? Nothing is curse. Greed is the basic human nature. We have unlimited wants which we really need to fulfill. Thats just basic economic nothing more than that. |

Profiting is the focus, when it comes to bitcoin the growth continues with price decrease happening in between. So, people expect of increased profit even when the price is found to be high. This doesn't mean that holding bitcoin expecting growth in terms of value is of greed. |

It's better to be greedy than being Fool.
Most People who invest in bitcoin were unable to take out their money even after achieving the price target they have decided in their mind. It is because of the reason they got faith in BTC growth pattern and expecting it to grow more n more. You may call it greed or smart investment opportunity ...whatever you want.

I think no. Holding back bitcoin isn't greediness. Youre just trying to be smart. You're just trying to wait until the time you were waiting and the price goes up. It can't be called greediness.

Why would people think its greedy? They are just investing time to bitcoin, and they are holding it because that is their strategy to profit. Investing in such taong needs time and money, they just want to see their hard earn effort and money in the future. Greedy is the one who keep on having a lot of money by theirselves without having the effort to make it grow or Atleast give a little portion of to someone they love. But i guess, the thinking of this idea of the other people might be true because bitcoin has a value that make a living.

I don't consider holders greedy. If they are not depriving others in doing so, then they could not be considered greedy. If they did not acquire their Bitcoins by hacking or by stealing or by scamming, or by any other dishonest and illegal way, then perhaps they are not greedy at all. All they are doing are saving Bitcoins for their value to increase over time and earn some good amount from it. I cannot see any problem with it.
