My Lord, it is people's nature to be greedy and it's normal that there are people who keep bitcoins to get the maximal profit, but meanwhile there are those who have to sell their coins to support their material situation with that they make greedy people only more richer and we have nothing to do with that, we all live in different terms and we all chose what to do with our coins ourselves.

I don't know if that can be called greedy. Maybe strategic will sound better?
It's up to them though, what they gonna do with their bitcoin. They can hold it, sell it or use it. Their choices, their decisions.
And of course i know they won't be that stupid, wait and wait for long time but don't get anything at all. They may have their own calculation or speculation, and know when and how to manage and sell their bitcoin.

To some extent that might be correct but i think holding bitcoins could be profitable also because its price is going moon quickly then ever before. If bitcoins holding is greedy then everyone is greedy because everyone is trying to have the most of it.
Holding bitcoin is always good to make a big profit. This doesn't mean to be of greed, everything happening with bitcoin is growth and upon the same people holding for a bigger earning is quite a common thing. Some out of curiosity try to multiply this through investment schemes and other sources and ending in loss seems to be of greed.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
I prefer not to hold it, but to invest it in altcoins or just spend it. Maybe I'm just not so greedy man Cheesy

I will say that holding bitcoin in not greedy, it is actually smart decision. This becomes more relevant if you are holding for long term.

Definitely it is just that we are being smart.  Just like having money, if we save that does not mean that we are greedy.  We only know how to value and take care of our hard earned money.  If not planned and save our money, it will vanish like a vapor.  There are too kany good buys out in the street.

No its not greedy, you just keeping your money while hoping to make gains. Just like keeping money in a fixed deposit account and after a while the bank gives you a certain percent... So it's not greed

If you are taking steps which makes you rich, then it does not mean that you are greedy. It means that you are taking steps which are indeed good for yourself, your family and yourself. Saving bitcoin is just the best step which you can take and it will really help you in the long run.

No it's not being greedy, it's just like being wise to prepare for the future. Getting a high profit from bitcoin is such a big thing and a very big help for bitcoin holders. Holding a bitcoin is just like valuing it and being wise enough to handle it. It is a strategy of smart people and nothing's wrong with it. Keeping your own earning is not bad.

Holding bitcoins is the only way that bitcoins buyers and enthusiasts are able to make money safely without fear that they are going to lose money, so there is nothingwrong with holding bitcoins and there is nothing greedy about it at all.

I don't think speculating Bitcoin is being greedy. In my opinion its a smart investment approach.
As bitcoin market cap is increasing day by day, that proves that new users are joining this system in order to grow their money. On the other hand, if we BTC holders think in such a way and sell holded bitcoin then i think it would be our foolish.
If you know any other investment scheme in fiat which can give more ROI then you can disinvest your money from it otherwise stay calm and let BTC and your money grow.

For me holding BTC is not actually a greed it is about the flow control in the market why people holding BTC for lerm term period,BTC price is determined by supply and demand.Supply is well defined and well controlled, its price is the result of every pure supply demand marketplace economics.BTC gains the necessary traction to become stable, trusted, widely accepted and ubiquitous as a payment instrument—if not the cash itself.

I think that's human nature with greed and I'm sure one day bitcoin will issue rules and laws that set limits on the use of bitcoin for each holder and maybe it can reduce human greed for bitcoin

Holding isn't greedy .. neither spending is stupid. Both these are subjective and cannot be judged by outsider.

Greedy or not, the majority of people seem to be doing it. That's why we are seeing a price of 11K, and who knows where it will stop.
