i misunderstood the situation. pool was dead. so, the miner was not the problem.

v3.0.1: 9 January 2018 - Fixed problem with pools not supporting extranonce, 'q' to exit, cleaned up dlls.


Note: Linux version 3.0.1 will be released in a few days. I got everything working, but got into some troubles with packaging for release.

Nice, I just got a new XFX 580 XXX 8GB -RX-580P8DFD6, and my computer was crashing with the previous version, with this new version, it is working like a charm

when i run with --asm, it only works one card, the others stay idle.  Any solution to this?  possibly run this card on one instance and my others on another?  If so how can that be done with bat file commands?

You're lucky, I have one rx580 and one rx560 and it crashes my PC...not only miner, but whole PC

Tried this, not viable for me. It works but my temps get way too high with intensity higher than 17, and hash rates become too low since I can't use higher intensity

Post a screenshot of the error you have when you try to mine XVG and someone will be able to help. Just saying "it doesn't work" will not get people to answer with a fix if you don't explain what is happening....


On Zpool.ca you need to specifiy the currency you want to mine in your password field..... "-p c=XVG" for example.

Read the first post of this thread, it lists all the options for this miner. You need to set the correct platform id with the "--platform" option, probably "0" or "1" is what you'll need. Try both, one of them is likely to work.

Now for whatever reason it's jumping between 28MH/s and 32MH/s, using the default "best" file with no additional changes.

Check your GPU clocks when mining (with something like GPU-Z in the background), there's a good chance your GPU is throttling and the actual clock is lower than 1388 MHz.

He says that he's mining Vertcoin in the actual post you're quoting. The hashrates are also listed. All you have to do to figure out the profits is to put the hashrate in any calc like whattomine, for example, and see what he's supposed to be getting.
