Scam miner

Quote from: schriss
Because maybe devfee is 20%

It kinda does look like it, doesn't it.
Especially the fact OP just drops the miner on us like that and ignores all subsequent replies and comments.

I personally can't wait for better AMD lyra2z miners to get optimised for Windows. There's just lots of potential for good devs to do great work.

Regardless, I didn't spend much time with it because I could not reach the advertised speeds regardless of how I clocked the cards. I cranked up intensities until cards failed, still couldn't reach the advertised speeds with 480's, 580's, or Vegas. Will stay tuned to see if anyone achieves different results.

Max Speed achieved with Vega 56 was 5.75 MH/s @ -I 31 w/ cc 1448 and mc 850.

I achieved 5.5-5.6 mh/s on my vegas (56), but the power consumption is higher (~180-200W) and reduce the profit than mining Monero (160-170W), so I reverted the cards back  to cryptonight.

Run on my 7970.
Win 64.
Crimson relive 17.4.4.
Core clock 1125.
mkxminer 3.1.0
Lyra2re2 - 24,5 Mh/s.

A good alternative for replacing equihash for a rarity like 7970. How do you think?
Guys, what do you run on your old 7970/280?

Would love to test this for you.  Have a few Vega 64s that I'd like to put to work on vert.

--powertune - Set the GPU powertune percentage - one value for all or separate by commas for per card

so if I want to set the power at -5% from 100 it would be:
--powertune 95 ?

I think he needs to reduce the dev fee a bit. We need to get 6MH out of the Vega56 to be somewhat useful.

Hello!

Lyra2rev2 ASICs are out: https://cryptomining-blog.com/10247-the-first-lyra2rev2-asic-miner-is-available-dayun-zig-z1/

And profitability of MONA/VTC is very low.

Please upgrade to mkxminer V4 with Lyra2Z support (links in OP) for a much better profit. Lyra2Z mining is now about 2-3 times more profitable than Lyra2rev2.

Thanks!

Very, very unstable with vegas

Best driver is a beta blockchain driver.

Have 7 x VEGA 64 myself, running rock solid.

Please compare mining speed of this miner with mkxminer v4 and reply.

My test on MSI RX580:
3.45Mhs on mkxminer 4.0b
3.37Mhs on teamred miner 0.3.2 (minus 3% their devfee) => effective 3.27Mhs
So my miner is 5% faster.

My test on FuryX:
3.61Mhs on mkxminer 4.0b
3.26Mhs on teamred miner 0.3.2 (minus 3% their devfee) => effective 3.16Mhs
So my miner is 14% faster.

Could not test on Vega, because redteam miner could not recognize my Vega64, so cannot publish my results unfortunately.

Note regarding mkxminer:

- Please use beta blockchain driver. Link: https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-Blockchain-Compute-Release-Notes.aspx

I use it myself on RX580 and Vega. Running absolutely rock solid.

There are reports, that latest 18.x drivers don't work properly.

- Do not use lyra2rev2 anymore, it is not profitable. Lyra2Z is much better.

- New version will have higher mining speed and Linux support. ETA: This month (October).

- There will be no more Lyra2rev2 support (does not make any sense, because of ASICs).

PS: If you need any comments from me, please send PM. Unfortunately, I don't have time to constantly monitor this forum.

Tonga should be supported right?
Got a rig of 290x with one 380.
Miner does not initialize on the 380, works fine on several other miners.

Hi there! Does -asm 1 work with Fury(X) for anyone using 4.0b to mine lyra2z? When I try it miner simply wont run whining "-a" parameter is wrong. Or asm simply isn't meant to work with Fury?
