ICOs and cryptos benefit from little to no regulation or legal consequences. They never give up a single ounce of equity to their 'investors.' They can crowdfund millions of dollars with nothing but a flashy website and fancy promises. They don't have to justify themselves to real investors who will do their due diligence, they just convince a bunch of laypeople to toss money at them.

I think not, I tried to join different bounties here in the campaign and after a month they're not active and i think they'll just run away once someone invest in their fake project. There are some who will give you free tokens (Airdrops) in order to make the project more legit.

Investing into ICO is like gambling there's a high risk in investing to ICO's specially you don't know if the projects is going to be known by many users, so in order to earn money through ICO's or to avoid scam you need to consider things:
1. Read their white paper and see if it's really promising or you think they have a good concept.
2. Read reviews about the ICO online.
3. Look at their Social medias account and read other peoples feedback or you can read here in the bitcointalk forum their ANN thread.
4. Review the team (Some of the projects don't give personal info's about their team which is a little bit shady.)

Last thing, Before you invest into ICO remember to invest only what you can afford to lose.

Not everything is free, but you can change with your efforts if you cant afford to invest some amount in the crypto market, i am always aware to the newcoming scamming ICos that promise you a lot of trash! 

I actually working everyday in the crypto market as my working and sometimes invest in, i reecomend you to watch out of there to do not be upset later.

Yes, ico is a way to earn money for free, but not completely free because we have post assignments and must comply with the rules specified by ico manager. You must be smart in choosing ico so that your work is not in vain because not all successful ico sometimes ico is also a scam.

In some terms - yes, actually after you invest in a project - you do nothing before you sell your tokens, BUT - participating in a project's sale sometimes is pretty challenging, so in this terms - absolutely no.

It could be a new way to make money but there is also a scam. You must know the company structure, mission and objectives there you can convince yourself to invest.

Most of the ico's today are not continuing the project after the sale ends and most of the consumers who invest on their coin are not getting any profit. The best thing to do is look for a reliable developers to have more chance of earning profit if you are planning to invest on ico's.

I think the tokens that are being given away in the bounty or some airdrop ico is not free although you may say its free but it is still composed of blood sweat and tears although this may sound exaggerated but I think it is what is all about.

Yes, if it will be used for the wrong intentions.
It is an attraction to scammers because it only requires less paperwork so scammers can easily create a fake white paper and make a lot of money.
Pure speculation. It is based on idea of a project and you are not sure if the project will succeed or not because the project might not be secure.
Network Congestion: The augment in the Online activities can be a major problem in the operation.
Government intervention: Various happenings like scams will simply decide to start regulating the ICOs.

Actually there's nothing really free in this world not even in cryptocurrencies or in an ico because we all do have to exert an effort and work hard for it in order to get a reward or obtain something valuable as a return. Ico's arent actually easy or free because it posseses alot of risk , such as scamming , unsucesfull or discontinued project , etc. but the only advantage i can think of is that ico can give you much greater profits when compared to bitcoin or altcoin jobs.

Well yes, 90% ICO are fake only. The sole purpose is to earn and run away. And the best thing is you don't even have to give any fiat or real coin to your investors. Just take their money, toss them some random erc token and disappear. But that being said, there are many projects which use ICO to gather funds and develop real projects like golem, lunyr, decentraland, steemit etc. So all ICOs are not bad, but most are!!

Many simply take copies of ideas to then try to collect a lot of money and then hide from investors. I prefer projects that already have a working product.

There are definitely a lot of fake ICOs out there. It really comes down to doing your research and of course taking a bit of risk. As they say, buyer beware.
